Meet 16th August 2023 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Sumeet thinking she has only thirty minutes left and none of family members are ready to join the task planned by Shagun. She prays for god to help her convince everyone. Rajiv is carrying bucket of water and mistakenly drops it. Loose wire makes current flow through it and it’s going towards Mayra. Sumeet comes there and asks Rajiv to turn off the main fuse. Rajiv finds it difficult to open the fuse however with help of each other and Sumeet’s smartness, Shlok and Sumeet together manage to save Mayra.
Shlok picks up Sumeet in his arms and the latter holds Mayra in her hands. Sumeet uses the incident to give an example to her family that if they remain united they can face Shagun’s tasks too. She brings Kesar laddoo from temple and says she will put tilak with it on their forehead and because of saffron’s smell she can recognize which drums they are in. Abhay hears Vani talking on call and recalls doctor telling him about being impotent and his wife cheating him. Vani tells it was Vicky on call who was her college friend. Abhay misbehaves with Vani and scolds her for not priotizing him.
Masoom comes there and says Vani she will not allow Abhay to treat her like this. Vani tells it must be something done by Shagun to create misunderstanding in her relationship with Abhay because he has never behaved like this. She tells she will not allow Shagun to succeed. Sumeet comes to independence day program alone and Shagun mocks her by saying her family turned out to be coward. But the latter gets shocked to see all of Shlok’s family members there and all of them apply saffron on their body as planned by Sumeet.
Shagun teases by saying it’s independence day but all of them are going to leave a life of slavery. She closes Sumeet’s eyes and ears and asks her men to put all of then in drums. Poonam challenges Shagun and says truth will always win. All the family members are locked inside except Shlok. Shagun tells one drum is less so he needs to stay outside. She ties Shlok up and makes him sit on the chair. Shagun removes Shlok’s blindfold and tells Sumeet to start her task. Sumeet tells she is not afraid as she has her family with her.
Vani tells Abhay that doctor has called them for first ultrasound of their baby. Abhay strongly refuses to go with her and says he doesn’t want the baby. Shagun announces that saffron scent will be sprayed in the air which shocks Sumeet as her plan to recognise family members through saffron smell failed. Sumeet thinks she cannot break her family’s trust and disappoint Shlok. Shagun shocks Sumeet video of Akki who is crying in pain. She asks Sumeet to go and start beating drums. Shlok screams and says he is ready to get defeated but cannot hurt his family. Sumeet also says the same and tells she will not play the drum. Shagun says if Sumeet doesn’t play her men will do it. The episode ends with Sumeet being perplexed about what to do.
