The episode starts with Meet switching off the light and says she is doing it for Isha’s future only. She takes Isha in front of the guests. Everyone thinks why the light went off. Someone bumps into Shanty in the darkness and he falls down. His glass gets lost and he searches for it. Light comes back and Meet asks him what he is searching for? He hides the wound in his eyes. She says this mark is given by her as she punched on his eyes in the factory while catching him.
Shanty defends himself saying he goes to practice boxing thus, he got hurt. Today is his engagement so he wore glass to hide the mark. Why she is making it a big issue. Babita scolds Meet for again blaming him. She apologises to Abhay and they again get ready for the engagement. Isha tells Meet that she doesn’t think the engagement will get cancelled after this. Meet assures her that she will cancel the engagement. Shanty goes to washroom and Meet follows him, Shanty falls in the washroom and Meet hurts his fingers by putting them in between the door. Babita says they should not delay for the engagement. Shanty comes and tells everyone that engagement can’t happen today as his hand is injured. Abhay sees his wound and says he needs to see a doctor so the engagement can’t happen. He says but marriage will happen after six days.
Meet tells Isha that she fulfilled her promise. Meet gives tea to everyone and Babita asks her whether she truly cares for her family’s respect and emotions. Meet says she can do anything for them. Babita makes Meet Ahlawat sit and tells Meet to swear on him that she will never go against Shanty. Meet says she can’t falsely swear on her husband. Babita says she is just tired of her same activities. If she respects her mother in law then she should respect her feelings too. Raj shuts Babita up and asks Meet to say things clearly. Meet says Isha is like her sister and she can’t let someone ruin her life. Masoom says but Meet embarassed them all over again and Meet Ahlawat still praises his wife. He will regret one day. Meet is now trying to rule over them. Meet says she doesn’t want to hurt them and she has not changed. Babita says the problem she is still the same. She is unconventional and has short hair and can’t match their status. Babita adds she and her son used to hate Meet but still they accepted her and told her to fulfil her dreams but she made them feel insulted. Babita with disgust says she doesn’t want to see Meet’s face. She leaves.
Sunaina also taunts Meet saying the latter is just annoying them with her actions now. Masoom says to Meet in the name of loving your family you lost everyone’s trust. Meet gets emotional and she tells Meet Ahlawat that he should also vent out his frustration as she came into his life without his wish. He is tolerating her as a burden. He remains silent and she leaves crying. She cries outside and thinks how will she explain that she wants her family’s good only. She says she will expose Shanty no matter what happens
