The episode begins with Megha recalls how Arjun told her to not get heartbroken. Arjun asks her to smile because her smile will give him confidence. He takes Megha’s dupatta with him (the Hamari Adhuri Kahani song plays in the background). He tells Megha that he thought he wouldn’t love anyone more than her, but he loves his baby the most. Megha and Alka cry. Arjun asks Megha to take care of herself and his baby. He thinks he won’t die until Megha is alive, and he covers his face with Megha’s dupatta. Manoj tells Megha to hang Arjun. Megha recalls how she got married to Arjun and hangs him.
Manoj smiles seeing this and says, Rest in peace, Arjun. Megha cries. Manoj’s men keep Arjun’s dead body on the floor. Megha removes her dupatta from Arjun’s face and asks him to open his face. Manoj tells his men to take Arjun’s dead body far. He says Megha can live in his house until she wants, but she will live as his baby’s nanny. He adds Megha is not allowed to go to the cremation ground. Manoj’s men take Arjun’s dead body from there. Megha screams Arjun’s name. Manoj and Alka leave from there.
Megha hallucinates Arjun, and he moves away from her. Then Arjun vanishes in front of Megha. Megha recalls how Arjun told her about the trick to survive from hanging. She takes Arjun’s dead body out and gives CPR to him. Arjun coughs and wakes up. He tells Megha that she is stubborn.
Later, Megha goes to Manoj’s house. Manoj tells her that her state says she went to the cremation ground. Megha tells him she went to say bye to Arjun one last time. Manoj tells her he went against his order, which he can’t ignore. He shows burning coal to Megha and tells her to walk over this. Megha walks over burning coal while chanting Arjun’s name. She takes the baby. Manoj snatches the baby and says it’s his and Alka’s baby. He adds Megha is the baby’s nanny.
After some time, Megha hears a baby crying sound. She asks Alka to give the baby to her. But Alka leaves from there. Arjun goes to Megha. Megha tells him she can’t meet her baby for 12 hours as punishment. Arjun tells her this is an eight-year fight, and she has to be brave. He says the next eight years will be a test for their love and their parenting. He adds they will stay together with the baby once the bone marrow transplant surgery happens.
He informs Megha that they won’t meet for the next eight years because he doesn’t want to give any chance to Manoj. Megha gets shocked hearing this. Arjun asks her to make the baby strong like the latter. He says Manoj should not know the baby’s gender. Megha asks him where he will stay. Arjun tells her he will stay in Bandipur only, and he will arrange a way to escape.
The next day, Alka gives the baby to Megha. Megha recalls Arjun’s words and says she won’t become weak. She tells the baby that they should become strong to fight.
