Episode starts with, a video being shown to everyone where Minnie is seen having paan on the street at a paan gumti. Her wpuld be mother-in-law says that she has been getting suport from their foreigner relatives. Golu’s father calls him and asks him to come home asap. She tells Janki that they won’t tolerate such behaviour of their daughter in law and says that if this is how her habits are, she can never be their bahu. Mini comes back home and looks very shocked and stressed. The shopping bags fall from her hand. There’s still paan juice rplling down from her mouth. She gets taunted even more for not washing her mouth. They leave the house immediately.
She wonders if it’s Manisha who is trying to break Mini’s wedding and if it’s her who sent this image to them. Mini’s dadaji and father apologise to her mother in law and ask her not to give her so big a punishment for one mistake for her. They ask her to see her age and asks them to apologise. Rahul says that that’s enough. He says that he accepts what she is saying but he would end all this melo drama right away. He asks her to punish hwr right now. He hands over a strong stick to Mini’s mother in law and asks her to beat Mini with this on the same hand with which she had paan. He brings Mini forward and asks her to put her hands forward. He asks her to hit hwr with the stick.
As she raises her hand to beat her, he asks aunty to stop. He asks Mini’s would be husband to come and stand beside Mini since he should be punished too. He says that where Mini was having paan, his son goes there everyday and not only has paan but also smokes cigarette. He shows pictures of Vickey smoking infront of everyone in the market.
She says that rules are different for men and women. Her Vickey even drives a bike so would Mini drive a car too. Rahul says that this is the problem. Cigarette harms men and women equally. He might also drink secretly which is actually bad but Mini has just had a paan which is not harmful rather it’s good for health. She says that when a woman has paan like this standing at a paan gumti it affects the statusquo of her family which is irreversible.
She comes forward and says that she has to tell her Mini’s surprise. She says that she was having paan not because she likes it but she went to different shops to taste different paans so that they can bring the best paan in their wedding. She says that Mini rejected so many shops but the one she selected, she had to suffer for it. She asks why had she been numb for such a long time. She praises Mini and says she wouldn’t get a better bahu than her in the whole Ujjain. She says that since she is a doctor she wants Rahul to quit smoking since it causes cancer.
Rahul reaches a restaurant for his deal. He meets the Jhumka wala couple again who arr also here for the same deal. Mauli finds out the photos from Manisha’s phone and realizes that’s it her as she contemplated. Episode ends.
