The episode starts with the puja being held in a house. An elderly woman gives instructions to her family members. She glares at one of the kids, then she follows a worker who is carrying the laddu plate. The worker addresses her as Janki maa, and he requests her to taste the laddu. Janki scolds him for not adding badam in it. She also scolds the two women who raise questions against her allegations. Janki decides to make the laddu for Lord Ram in five minutes. She also refuses to take help from her daughter in law. She makes the laddu, and then she fires the worker from his job despite his plea to forgive him, saying forgiveness can lead a person to repeat his or her mistakes, then she leaves the place.
A lady talks about Ujjain and it’s tradition which hasn’t been changed even after all these years. There, a woman asks a girl to deck up the bride as she is going to be her daughter in law. The bride shed few tears, so the girl who helps her get ready raises questions. Mauli tells Neha about her gratitude towards Manoj and his family of taking care of her family after her parents died. Later, Manas makes up an excuse with his mother, and he scolds the person on the call for not letting him know about her decision before he gets married. He then assures the person to do something.
Mauli scolds Manoj for not taking care of himself. She makes him have medicine. Both of them have a conversation about each other’s importance in their life. Mauli gives a set of envelopes to Manoj, and she leaves the place. Manoj recalls the moments he spent with his family and then smiles. He then hears Manas’s conversation with Mauli about his decision to leave her for Aasna, his girlfriend, who has been returned his life. Mauli tries to speak with Manas, but the latter remains firm in his decision. Manoj arrives there. He then lashes out at Manas for his decision to leave Mauli. He compares both Manas and Mauli. Manas gets furious, so he decides to leave the house forever. His mother tries to stop him but fails. Manoj disowns Manas. He recalls Janki maa’s plea to him. His wife also reminds Manoj about his decision years back, and then she breaks down. Manas leaves the house. Manoj gets a heart attack, which shocks and worries. Meanwhile, Janki prays for her family members’ well-being.
In the hospital, Mauli runs all the tests of Manoj. She then gives instructions to her colleague. She meets Manoj’s wife, who asks her not to make an issue for Manas’s decision to leave her. She also shows some gratitude for whatever Manoj has done to her. Mauli makes a promise not to stress about Manoj’s well-being as she will take good care of Manoj. Manoj’s wife leaves the place.
After surgery, Mauli notices Manoj is smiling even in his medicine induced state. She also breaks down silently hearing the nurse’s criticism about her marriage life. A few days later, Mauli accepts a job offer from Mumbai. She then meets Manoj, who shares with her about his ancestors and also the mistakes he has done of leaving the family members. In Ujjain, Janki finds a receipt of Mini’s marriage, which her son and daughter in law failed to hide it from her. Meanwhile, Manoj decides to rectify his mistake by returning to Ujjain. He seeks Mauli’s support. Mauli recalls signing a contract, and she stares at Manoj.
