The episode starts with Manas serving food to Mauli and lying that he has specially cooked all these dishes by himself for her as they are her favorite. He acts nice and tells Mauli to have a bite from his hand. Rahul rushes to Manas and Mauli. He stops Manas from feeding Mauli. When Manas shows his frustration and questions Rahul about his actions. The latter shows the food ordered by Manas and exposes his lies. Manas makes excuse that food he was cooking got burnt so to stop surprise from getting spoiled he ordered food from outside.
Rahul says that if Mauli would have eaten the food ordered by Manas then Mauli will be in hospital. He reprimands Manas for growing up with Mauli still being unaware of fact that she is allergic to cashew and other nuts. Flashback shows Rahul offering Mauli ice cream but she denies eating it as it has dry fruits and she gets stomach upset eating it. Mauli reminds Manas that she has told him many times that she is allergic to nuts expecially cashews. Manas lies that he remembers it but forgot while ordering.
Mauli tells Manas that she knows he can cook as he used to stay at hostel so he could have made something simple instead of ordering such fancy dishes. Manas starts acting and says she is unable to see his efforts and only criticising him for the small mistake. Ajanta scolds Rahul for creating issue as he doesn’t want Manas and Mauli to patch up. Rahul’s mother defends him and argues with Ajanta. Mauli requests them not to fight for her. Janki Maa says everyone to prepare for Holi next day and stop the argument.
Mauli comes to her room and cries her heart out. Jyoti tells Mauli about how Manas did not know about her allergy but Rahul who has just met her already remembers it all. She asks reason behind Mauli’s stressed behaviour since she has returned from Mumbai. She tells Mauli is lucky to give second chance to marriage as some marriages are always left without love . She tells Mauli to think properly before making any decision. Voice over says if Jyoti was just advising Mauli or her own suppressed feelings came out. Akshay starts scolding Jyoti badly and says that all family members are complimenting Mauli endlessly.
Akshay says all property would have belonged to him but Mauli made everyone stay here. He reminds about all the struggles he had gone through for the family. Akshay even says about marrying Jyoti inspite of her being 10 years elder to him as her father promised to pay off the debts for shop. Mauli overheard their conversation and sees Jyoti crying. Mauli tries to lift Jyoti’s mood and bring back the love hidden in her relationship with Akshay. Mauli decides to end the bitterness between the brothers. Flashback shows how the brothers used to play Holi when they stayed together. The episode ends with Mauli deciding to bring back the same moment on Holi.
