The episode starts with Rati telling herself that she doesn’t want both Rahul and Mauli to get the certificate. Rahul arrives there. He confronts her. Mauli and Jyoti join Rahul. Rati puts up an act in front of Rahul. She tries to guilt trip Rahul. Mauli questions Rati. Rati pretends to be affected by the entire family’s demand. She then says that she can’t tolerate this all anymore, and she asks Rahul to free her from this marriage. Rahul agrees with Rati, and he takes her with him. Mauli and Jyoti follow them behind.
Meanwhile, an advocate comes to Mehndi Wala Ghar. Vijay questions them. Rahul arrives and says that the advocate is here to proceed with the divorce. Everyone gets shocked. Vijay shouts at Rahul. Rahul informs Vijay about Rati’s change in mindset, which he came to know through Mauli. Vijay criticises Mauli. Janki maa tries to stop Rahul by giving him an ultimatum, but Rahul refuses to listen to her. He also shuts up Tanvi. Vijay threatens to disown Rahul so the latter expresses his disappointment with his parents. Vaibhav signs at Rati not to worry. Jyoti demands Rati to sign the divorce paper if her intention is pure. Tanvi tries to stop Jyoti, but the latter doesn’t listen to her. Rati thinks in her mind that she shouldn’t lose Rahul at any cost, so she moves forward looking at the family members. She then pretends to fall down. She also pretends that her hand is injured. Mauli checks up Rati, and then she tells everyone that Rati is acting, which leads to an argument between her and Rati. The family members also shout at Mauli for her behaviour towards Rati. They also send the lawyers out.
The Agrewal’s get into an argument, but Rahul takes a firm stand for Mauli. He also reminds the entire family members about the sacrifices Mauli has done for their family. He further exposes Rati’s lie, which shocks everyone. Rati shouts at Rahul for not even considering the sacrifices she made for him. Rahul refuses to listen to Rati, and he blames her continuously for fooling her. So Rati tells Rahul and the entire family that not only does she fail to win Rahul’s heart but also the trust of him, so she feels that she should end her life. She then rushes to the upstairs. The entire family gets shocked. They all follow Rati upstairs.
Rati pretends to jump from the balcony. Everyone pleads her not to do it. Mauli saves Rati’s life. Janki maa slaps Rati. After everyone leaves, both Rahul and Mauli share a hug. Later, Jyoti and Manoj criticise Rati. Meanwhile, the entire family schools Rahul. Mauli arrives there. She advises Rahul to accept his mistake and take care of Rati. Rahul agrees, too. Janki maa taunts Mauli. Rahul apologises to Rati. He then gets Rati’s fingerprint in the divorce paper, shocking her. He also justifies his act and then leaves from there. Rati gets shocked.
