The episode begins with Sulakshana asking Bulbul to remove her suhaagan sign toe rings. Bulbul’s eyes fill with tears as she reluctantly tries to remove it. Vaayu stands up for Bulbul, telling Sulakshana not to punish her for a mistake she didn’t make. However, Sulakshana remains firm in her decision. Bulbul tells Veer that their fates are the same and that she is also being punished without having done anything wrong. With a heavy heart, she removes the toe rings. Veer wonders why it is affecting him so deeply. Bulbul places the toe rings in Veer’s hand and promises to go to any lengths to help him regain his job and honor.
Later, Bulbul reflects on her understanding of Veer’s struggles. Veer recalls how he lost his job and, in frustration, drops the toe rings into the dustbin. Drishti enters Bulbul’s room and mocks her, saying she will soon lose all her other signs of being a suhagan. Bulbul retorts that Drishti will be exposed, and Sulakshana will throw her out of the house. Drishti laughs off Bulbul’s warning. Bulbul reassures her that her toe rings are safe with Veer. Drishti taunts that Veer may have already thrown them in the dustbin, but Bulbul insists they will be safe. She challenges Drishti to come with her to prove it.
They go to Veer’s room and find him carefully placing the toe rings back in the cupboard after retrieving them from the dustbin. Drishti insists he shouldn’t handle them that way and plans to confront him, but Bulbul stops her, explaining that it’s inappropriate to approach her brother-in-law at this time. She warns Drishti that if she informs Kaveri, she will spread the news, causing trouble. Drishti reluctantly leaves.
Bulbul enters the room and asks Veer why he placed her toe rings safely in the cupboard instead of throwing them away. Inside, Veer feels conflicted; his inner self dances with joy at the thought of Bulbul, revealing that he still loves her and cannot discard the symbols of their marriage. However, he claims he will throw them away now. He slams his hand on the table, which makes Bulbul turn to look at him, causing his inner thoughts to disappear. Veer leaves the room to get some water.
Meanwhile, Varadha tells Sulakshana that she has wrongly punished Bulbul. He explains that while Bulbul lied about her age, she is the one who helped Veer regain his honor, and he is proud to be standing on his own feet now. He argues that Bulbul deserves appreciation, not punishment. Sulakshana, however, insists that Bulbul is responsible for both Varadha’s and Veer’s current situations, stating that she will not allow Bulbul to re-enter the house.
As Veer walks toward the storeroom, he reflects on why Bulbul’s actions affect him so much. He opens the door and finds Bulbul sleeping inside. He thinks about how he lost his job because of her. Just as he is about to leave, he notices Bulbul is about to fall off the bed and rushes to catch her. He sees that she is holding the couple globe, and he gently places it back on the table. As he tries to leave, Bulbul, still in her sleep, holds his hand and asks him to forgive her. Veer places the toe rings inside the couple globe before he leaves.
The next day, Bulbul exclaims that she can’t eat so many pastries. Vaayu comments on this and asks her to share the reason behind her happiness. She shows him her toe rings. He asks if she stole them from Veer’s room. Bulbul clarifies that Veer himself placed them in her room. Vaani and her husband, who came there overhear the conversation, remark that this is good news, as it suggests that Veer’s anger is subsiding. Bulbul feels happy to see them.
