Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Rekha tells Som to stop, but he doesn’t hear her. She causes an earthquake. Rekha holds Gaura responsible for the circumstances. Gaura is in her possession. Gaura refers to Som as beta.
Gaura stops Som and urges him to remain where he is since she would not find peace otherwise. Som becomes perplexed. Rekha departs from Gaura’s body. Gaura informs Som that Rekha has possessed her.
Som becomes enraged. From there, he departs. Gaura follows her. Som requests that Gaura not follow her. Gaura claims he can’t go because they are married. They hear on the radio that the weather is going to deteriorate. Som invites her to return. Gaura is adamantly opposed. Som claims that he does not care for Gaura.
Gaura declares her love for him. Som inquires as to what he has done for her. Gaura informs Som of what he has done for her. Som claims that everything he did was done in the name of humanity, not love.
She drags Gaura in front of the temple and ends the marriage. Som trips over a rock and falls. He is injured and passes out. Gaura loads Som into the van. Gaura brings Som to her house. Gaura notices that Som has a fever. Som holds her hand and believes she is Twinkle.
Rekha holds Gaura responsible for Som’s situation. She urges Gaura to go and accuses her of being selfish. Gaura claims that she will do anything for Som’s happiness, including leave him. Rekha inquires whether Gaura has any objections to Som and Twinkle’s marriage. Gaura claims to be unconcerned.
Rekha requests that she approach Twinkle’s parents and discuss Som and Twinkle’s marriage. Gaura is taken aback. Rekha claims she cannot rely on Ganga and Kanchan. She threatens Gaura not to tell anyone about it.
Gaura resolves to do everything she can to ensure Som’s happiness in the future. Gaura promises Som that she will set her free. The next morning, Som awakens to see Gaura beside his bed.
He requests that Gaura depart. Gaura walks away. Som accepts Gaura’s offer of sorbet. Som assures her that they will never be husband and wife. He claims to feel claustrophobic around Gaura.
In the upcoming episode, Kanchan tells Ganga that she wants to go to Twinkle’s house to talk about Rahul and Twinkle’s marriage. Gaura hears it. Rahul, Kanchan and Gaura visit Twinkle’s house. Twinkle gets shocked seeing Gaura.
