Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Gaura informs Som that Rahul has asked her to deliver the medications to Ganga. Som inquires if she is unable to read the prescription. Gaura claims that she cannot read English because she just completed fourth grade. Som confronts Gaura about keeping the truth from his family. Gaura claims she didn’t keep anything from him.
Som inquires about her degree certificate. He refers to her as illiterate. Kanchan, according to Gaura, brought those certificates. He brands her a liar and does not believe her. Gaura claims to have told Ganga and Kanchan of everything. Gaura is chastised by Rekha. Gaura claims to know that Rekha is responsible for all of this. She promises to fix everything.
Gaura serves Ganga tea. Ganga bestows her blessings. Som questions her decision to forgive Gaura so quickly. He provides divorce papers and gently requests that Gaura sign or place finger prints on them. Gaura claims she will not sign.
Gaura rips the divorce papers and throws them into the air. Gaura declares that she will not allow Som to divorce her or divorce her. Som claims that Gaura cannot prevent him from divorcing.
Som holds Gaura’s family responsible for the lie. Rekha claims that Ganga and Kanchan created it. Som threatens to leave the house permanently if Gaura does not grant him divorce.
In the upcoming episode, Som gears up to leave the house. Rekha tries to stop him. She possesses Gaura and asks Som to stop. She says that her soul won’t get peace if he leaves the house. Som gets shocked.
