Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Som asks Gaura to accompany her. Laxmi informs Gaura that she will be waiting for her return. Officer inquires as to why Gaura appears so petrified, as if she stole the jewelry. Gaura expresses fear upon seeing the police for the first time so near.
Kanchan shows the police photographs of the stolen jewelry. Som asks Gaura to accompany him after discovering that someone was present during Rekha’s final moments. Rahul inquires as to whether Kanchan has taken Ganga’s jewelry. Som inquires of Gaura what she was doing in Rekha’s chamber the day she passed away.
Gaura claims she went there to give Rekha the kheer she prepared for her pehli rassoi ritual. Som inquires whether she spiked the kheer. Rekha, according to Gaura, did not even consume the kheer before discarding it. Som queries Gaura about the nose pin. Gaura weeps and requests Rekha to communicate.
Rekha intends to frame someone, and she identifies Laxmi. Rekha throws a piece of jewelry at Laxmi. Laxmi attempts to conceal it. The officer captures her in the act. The officer labels Laxmi a thief. Laxmi asserts her innocence. The officer slaps Laxmi.
Gaura defends Laxmi. Officer displays the jewelry to all present. Laxmi claims she discovered the jewelry on the floor. Gaura informs everyone that Rekha is responsible for the theft.
Som retaliates against her. Officer doubts Gaura. Ganga is told by Kanchan that she was correct. Som requests Gaura to disclose the location of the jewelry.
In the upcoming episode, Rekha stops Gaura from speaking. She cautions Gaura to remain silent. She menaces to murder Chanchal and frame Gaura for her murder.
Kanchan informs Ganga that Gaura is currently unable to communicate because she is possessed by Rekha’s spirit. Ganga tells Som to relax. Som requests that she get Gaura to tell the truth.
