The episode begins with Mala gathers everyone in the Hall. Shaoli tells Priest to fix the marriage date. Surjo tells Priest to leave from there. The priest asks how Surjo can marry someone else when he has a wife, Noyontara. He says he would not have arrived if he knew about it then. Surjo apologizes to Priest for troubling the latter. The priest tells Surjo not to leave Noyontara because he is lucky to get her as a wife. Shaoli tells Priest that Noyontara divorced Surjo and left the house. She asks whether Surjo’s family is ready for the marriage. Shashodar, Poulomi, and Poulomi’s husband agree. Surjo says it’s his life, and he will make the decision. And he is sure Shaoli pressurized his family. Mala asks Surjo what his problem is with marrying Shaoli when he loved her. Surjo asks why he should marry Shaoli. And why his family changed suddenly.
Meanwhile, Noyontara enters the outhouse with Ashalata’s help. She asks Ashalata to go inside now.
Shaoli glares at Shashodar. Shashodar tells Surjo that Noyontara left, so he can’t marry Shaoli. He says Shaoli is not a stranger to Surjo, so what is his problem? Surjo tells Shashodar that Noyontara is not dead but missing. A police inspector comes there. Surjo asks the police inspector whether the latter found Noyontara’s location. The police inspector shows the saree that Noyontara gave him. Poulomi tells Surjo that Noyontara wore this saree on visarjan day. The police inspector lies; he got this saree on a corpse from the Ganga River. And it’s difficult to recognize the corpse. Surjo gets shocked hearing this. He says Noyontara can’t leave him like this. He tells the police inspector that it must be a misunderstanding.
The police inspector says it’s a suicide case. He asks whether Noyontara was in depression. Shaoli thinks no one will suspect her if it’s proved suicide then. Surjo tells the police inspector that he wants to see the corpse because Noyontara won’t commit suicide. Ashalata tells Surjo that he can’t see the corpse. She says this saree proves that’s Noyontara. The police inspector agrees with Ashalata. Mala asks why Shaoli is not happy. Shaoli tells Mala that Surjo is becoming mad with Noyontara’s death news.
Surjo recalls the moments he spent with Noyontara. He says Noyontara left after freeing herself from this relationship with him. And Noyontara did not understand his love; that’s why she left him. Shaoli asks Surjo to use this chance and move on. Surjo tells Shaoli to shut up. Shaoli asks him to look at their future. Surjo asks her whether she has humanity or not. Shaoli asks him to ask his family’s opinions. Shashodar tells Surjo to marry Shaoli. Mala tells Surjo that everyone wants this marriage to happen. Surjo asks everyone to say he should marry Shaoli. He screams in anger.
Noyontara disguises herself as Parinda and comes there with a plate of chilies. Mala asks who this is. Surjo asks Parinda who she is and how she entered the house. Parinda tells him that she is a married woman, so he can’t do this with her. She goes to Shaoli and says, “Beautiful bride.” Shaoli says Parinda brought chillies. Parinda says she is the new maid of theirs. She forcefully puts chilies on Shaoli’s mouth. Shaoli coughs. She asks who hired Parinda. Ashalata replies she hired Parinda.
