The episode begins with Ashwin and Chirag suggesting that Pushpa should consider retiring. Pushpa argues with Chirag, asking what she’s supposed to do by stopping everything, as she’s never been one to sit idle. Chirag reminds her of all that she’s done for the family and comments on her need for rest. Prarthna defends Pushpa, stating she’s only 45 years old and still has a lot to offer. Pushpa, meanwhile, wonders what she should do, feeling that she can’t discuss these thoughts with anyone. She recalls how she used to confide in Juggal, but now Kadambari is trying to separate him from her.
Swara speaks to Pushpa and tells her she ran into Munni earlier. Swara says that Munni blamed Rashi for their family leaving the chawl. Pushpa is surprised and asks Swara why Munni would say that. Swara replies that Munni told her to ask Rashi directly. After sending Swara away, Pushpa confronts Rashi and asks what happened between her and Badshah. Rashi says that Badshah asked her to stay away from Arjun, and they had an argument. Soon after, Badshah left the chawl. Pushpa questions if that’s really enough reason for them to leave. Rashi tells her to ask Badshah that question and walks away.
That night, Rashi reflects on her conversation with Pushpa as she lies in bed.
The next day, Pushpa’s children wish her a happy Mother’s Day and ask her to rest. Pushpa declines, saying she has a work order from Purushottam College for the next two weeks.
At college, Neelu suggests Pushpa take a break and offers to handle the work. Meanwhile, Sastry arrives at the canteen for coffee and finds Pushpa sleeping. He taunts her for being lazy and questions her work ethic. Pushpa defends herself, and Devangi arrives. Sastry demands that Devangi fire Pushpa, calling her inefficient. Devangi refuses, explaining that Pushpa is only there temporarily under a work contract. Sastry makes sarcastic remarks about Pushpa. In response, Pushpa asks Devangi to throw Sastry out instead. Devangi reminds her that Sastry is a professor at the college who teaches law. Pushpa and Sastry exchange further jabs before he walks away.
Elsewhere, Rashi meets Arjun. He tells her that he can no longer see her because her father insulted Shambhu. Rashi defends her father and argues with Arjun, but he ends their relationship and leaves.
Pushpa later visits Radha and wishes her a happy Mother’s Day. During their conversation, Pushpa admits to feeling a sense of emptiness lately. Radha explains that what Pushpa is experiencing is called a mid-life crisis and tells her she needs to find a way to deal with it herself. Pushpa agrees.
The next morning, Pushpa asks her family to come out with her, but everyone is busy with their own work. Left alone, she tries to pass the time by watching TV, unsure of what else to do.

Meanwhile, Kadambari plots to create problems in Pushpa’s family, believing it will keep her away from Juggal.
