The episode begins with Shekhar noticing Juggal helping Basanti wear bangles. This reminds him of how he once gifted bangles to Basanti in a similar way. Observing Basanti’s fondness for Juggal, Shekhar hopes she finds happiness with him and quietly leaves.
Shoba hands the baby to Ashawari and apologizes for not supporting her during difficult times. She attempts to touch Ashawari’s feet, but Ashawari stops her, and the two reconcile. Meanwhile, Basanti sees everyone is preoccupied, so she calls Viren and leaves to meet him. Susheela advises Shoba to take Ashawari home, which she does.
Bapodhara expresses relief that the issue has been resolved and asks Prathna if she deposited the jewelry in the locker. Prathna admits she forgot but promises to do it that day. However, when she reaches home, she finds the jewelry missing. Distressed, she informs Chirag, who asks her to stay calm. To cover up, Chirag lies to Bapodhara, claiming he deposited the jewelry in the bank the previous day. Bapodhara seems satisfied and instructs them to retrieve the jewelry when the pandit fixes the date for the pooja.
Basanti meets Viren and confronts him, accusing him of playing games with her. She reveals that Pushpa is alive and is staying in her guise as Basanti. Viren denies it, insisting Pushpa is dead, but promises to investigate who is pretending to be her. He instructs Basanti to continue with her tasks. Basanti reveals she has already created chaos in the chawl and has stolen God’s jewelry. Viren then asks Shekhar to book him a ticket to Kanpur.
At home, Prathna and Chirag inform Ashwin and Deepti about the missing jewelry. Deepti checks Pushpa’s cupboard, but Ashwin stops her, warning her not to invade Pushpa’s privacy. Later, the family discusses the theft. Bapodhara overhears the conversation and confronts them. Chirag explains that the jewelry was stolen from their house and mentions the CCTV cameras are not working.
Hasmukh arrives and insinuates that Chirag might have stolen the jewelry. Angered, Bapodhara slaps Hasmukh and warns him to stay out of his and his son-in-law’s matters. An argument ensues between them. Meanwhile, Basanti receives a call from Viren, who informs her that he has reached Kanpur and will soon discover who is living as her imposter. He asks if the drama regarding the stolen jewelry has begun. Basanti confirms it has, and Viren tells her the second phase will start soon. He instructs her to record the events and send him the footage.
A delivery man arrives with a new bike for Chirag and asks for his old bike in exchange. Basanti shows the old bike. While checking the bike, the delivery man finds the stolen jewelry in the toolbox. Everyone looks at Chirag with suspicion.
Pushpa meets Shekhar and asks when he arrived. Shekhar says he just returned and remarks that he wouldn’t have learned the truth if he hadn’t gone to Mumbai. Pushpa asks what truth he is referring to and whether he discussed her proposal with Juggal. Shekhar admits he spoke to Juggal, but they didn’t agree. Feeling guilty about withholding the truth, Shekhar regrets his decision. Determined, Pushpa decides to go to Mumbai to speak to Juggal and Pushpa directly to persuade them to accept her proposal.
Bapodhara finds the jewelry he had entrusted to Prathna and recalls how Basanti had hidden it in the bike before informing Viren. Bapodhara remarks that “a thief is always a thief.” This enrages Dilip, who warns him not to insult his son. In response, Bapodhara makes further disparaging remarks about Dilip and his family. Ashwin intervenes, asking Bapodhara to stop crossing the line, but the argument escalates. Dilip and Bapodhara grab each other’s collars, and chaos ensues. Deepti notices her mother’s silence and wonders why she isn’t reacting.
Meanwhile, Basanti secretly sends the footage of the ongoing drama to Viren, who enjoys watching the turmoil unfold. Basanti calls Viren and says to Viren that this is what he wants right.
Prarthna tries to make Bapodara understand that Chirag couldn’t steal the jewelry and says this is all a misunderstanding. Bapodara says to Prarthna that stealing is in Chirag’s blood and says he is son of Dilip. Dilip hearing it gets provoked and tries to hit him but others stop him. Chirag comments on Bapodara for dragging his father into all of this. Prarthna tries to calm down Chirag. Chirag argues with Prarthna. Bapodara warns Chirag not to talk to his wife Prarthna in that way and says he will also be charged with domestic violence just like his father and go to jail. Chirag asks Bapodara not to get involved in the matter of husband and wife. Susheela asks Bapodara and Chirag to stop this matter and says they should solve it in their home.
The police come to the Chawl. Dilip asks Bapodara if he has gone mad as he called the police on Chirag. The police come to Bapodara and asks Bapodara if he called the control room and said that there was jewelry stolen. Bapodara says the jewelry was stolen and Chirag is the thief. The police hearing it take Chirag away from there. Prathna gets upset with Bapodara comments on him and leaves from there.
Susheela reprimands Bapodara for complaining to the cops about Chirag. Bapodara reminds Susheela that after he found the jewelry he was not on phone so how could he call the cops. Susheela after hearing it says he didn’t call the cops and neither Chirag stole the money but there is a third person who is making them fight.
Basanti calls Viren. Viren says he saw everything and asks Basanti to stay away from the cops. Basanti agrees. Viren says he will take care of Pushpa here.
Butler gives Pushpa, Basanti’s id card and bank card as she is leaving to Mumbai.
