The episode starts with Devi telling the judge that Balwant died in an accident. However, she points out that the postmortem report states Balwant was actually strangled to death. Salgaunkar agrees with Devi, stating that Balwant did not die from the accident. He then accuses Ashwin of strangling Balwant after the accident to steal the diamonds, as Balwant would have demanded them back if he were alive.
Devi counters Salgaunkar’s claim, stating that his version of events makes Ashwin the culprit, while her version identifies Angad as the real murderer. The judge asks Devi if she has any proof to support her accusation against Angad.
Devi questions Angad about why he was supposed to meet Balwant on Lonawala Road. Angad replies that Balwant had called him there. Devi asks if he didn’t find it suspicious that Balwant asked him to meet at such a location to hand over the diamonds. She then asks Angad when exactly Balwant called him. Angad replies that it was around 10 PM. Devi presents Angad’s call records to the judge and reveals that Balwant never called him at 10 PM. The judge then adjourns the court for a recess.
Outside the courtroom, Prarthna praises Devi, saying she has won the case. Devi responds that the case isn’t over yet. Meanwhile, Angad urges Salgaunkar to do something as the situation is turning against him. Pushpa notices a bracelet on Angad’s wrist.
In the hospital, the doctor informs Bapodara that Dilip’s condition is worsening and that he must be kept under observation overnight. Bapodara calls Juggal and updates him about Dilip’s condition.
Court proceedings resume. Devi calls Kallu, the Panwala, as a witness and proves in court that Angad had been tracking Balwant’s movements from Mumbai. She then explains how the murder could have been committed by Angad. However, Salgaunkar objects, stating that she cannot make baseless accusations without solid proof. Salgaunkar then presents a shirt button found near Balwant’s body, claiming it belongs to Ashwin. The judge questions why Salgaunkar is submitting this evidence so late. Salgaunkar replies that the police just found it. The judge adjourns the court again.
Meanwhile, Rashi calls Dilip, and he opens his eyes. Rashi asks Pushpa why Dilip was admitted to the ICU. Pushpa tells her they need to speak to the doctor. Outside, Juggal requests the doctor to lie to Rashi, and the doctor agrees. Pushpa asks Rashi to let Dilip rest. Rashi asks Dilip if he is okay, and he assures her that he is fine. Juggal enters, and Pushpa understands that everything is going according to plan. They leave the room.
Devi asks Ashwin how his shirt button got removed. Ashwin explains what happened. Devi realizes that Salgaunkar claimed the button was found near Balwant’s body, but Ashwin remembers his button falling at the accident site. Juggal offers to search the accident spot to find the missing button. Prarthna suggests that he take Manoj along. Chirag seeks Manoj’s help.
Meanwhile, Devi examines the photos of Balwant’s dead body carefully. Pushpa points out marks on his throat.
