The episode starts with Deepti telling the nurse that she wants to meet her babies. Ashwin and the family members arrive there. Ashwin shows her a photo of their son and says that their daughter is in another NICU. Deepti says that Prarthna sent her the baby girl’s photo and shows it to him. She asks when she can meet her babies. Ashwin tells her that she can meet them once she recovers. He then leaves from there. Chirag follows Ashwin and comforts him. He thinks that if Ashwin couldn’t tell Deepti about the baby’s death, then how could he tell Prarthna about it.
Later, Deepti tells the nurse that she wants to meet her babies in the NICU. The nurse says that the NICU is on the third floor and no one is allowed there. Deepti asks who is outside. The nurse replies that only Ashwin is there, and he is sleeping. Meanwhile, Prarthna takes leave after bidding farewell to her friend Palak and rushes to see the baby girl.
Deepti slowly walks to the NICU. Kadambari and Juggal hear someone arguing. Juggal goes outside to check. Rekha calls Kadambari and informs her that the police are searching for the dead baby and that Prashanth was caught on CCTV taking a dead baby from the Sishu Hospital lobby. Kadambari feels anxious.
Juggal returns and tells Kadambari not to worry, as the argument is between a ward boy and a nurse. He says it seems the ward boy stole some money and someone filed a complaint. He adds that the truth will come out once they check the CCTV footage. Kadambari gets tense, thinking that if the footage is reviewed, the police will see Prashanth bringing a baby into the operation theatre. A doctor asks the nurse whose patient Kadambari is. The nurse says she is Dr. Maya’s patient, but Dr. Maya is busy with her daughter’s wedding. Namita asks Kadambari to contact her if she faces any problem. Juggal asks Namita if she is Deepti’s doctor. Namita says yes and adds that Deepti lost her baby girl. The nurse arrives and informs Namita that the hospital’s CCTV footage is missing. They leave in a rush, and Kadambari feels relieved.
Deepti reaches the NICU to see her babies. She sees her son and then asks the nurse about her daughter. Rekha calls Kadambari and tells her that Prashanth has gone underground and that she deleted the hospital footage, so no one will suspect her. Kadambari tells her not to call again.
The nurse notices that the baby girl is listed as deceased in the records. She assumes that the family didn’t inform Deepti about the death. Chirag sits worried. Bapodhara comes to him. Chirag says he is unable to sleep. Bapodhara agrees and says fate is being cruel to Prarthna. Chirag says he won’t let Prarthna feel broken and that they can adopt a baby in the future.
Ashwin wakes up and finds Deepti missing from her room. He starts searching for her. Pushpa and Sonal come to Kadambari’s room. Pushpa congratulates Kadambari. Kadambari says she heard about Deepti’s baby’s loss. Pushpa receives a call from Ashwin informing her that Deepti is missing. They all rush to the NICU. The nurse remains silent in front of Deepti. Deepti checks the register and angrily questions why they wrote that her baby girl didn’t survive. She scolds the nurse. Pushpa and others arrive and try to calm her down. Sonal tells Deepti to accept the truth — that they lost the baby girl. Deepti breaks down in tears and faints. Everyone feels worried.
