The episode begins with Rashi welcoming the colony residents to the New Year celebrations. She announces that Radha will pick chits, and the two names drawn will have to perform together. Radha picks 2 chits and gets her and Rashi’s name. They start dancing to the song Kaala Chashma. Meanwhile, Bapodhara makes a phone call, steps outside to meet a lawyer, and sends him off after reviewing some documents.
Chewing Gum and Badri, while discussing with Badshah, plan to celebrate Munni’s birthday in a similar style. Soon, the names Ashwin and Saran are picked. Everyone appears tense, but Shoba takes them to the stage, explaining that their names were drawn and there’s nothing wrong with it. She encourages them to perform. They happily dance to the song Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari. Chirag, watching them, imagines himself dancing with Prarthna.
Next, Bapodhara picks chits with Ashwin and Deepti’s names. Rashi announces their turn, and the two rock the stage with an energetic performance, receiving applause from everyone. Rashi then asks Juggal to pick the next set of chits. He picks Pushpa and Badri’s names. Pushpa, Badri, and Chewing Gum set the stage on fire with their lively performance.
As the clock approaches midnight, Rashi initiates the countdown to 12. Everyone joyfully wishes each other a Happy New Year and continues dancing.
The next day:
Badri and Chewing Gum watch a recording of their performance from the previous night. They share with each other that dancing with Pushpa felt like dancing with their mother. Badri expresses his liking for Patola work, while Chewing Gum mentions his preference for software-related work. They resolve not to lose Pushpa’s trust.
Meanwhile, Bapodhara vacates Dilip’s room. When Pushpa and Dilip question him, Bapodhara shows them documents, claiming he had given Dilip notice a month ago and acted within the law. Dilip denies receiving any notice, and Pushpa defends him. Susheela also sides with Dilip, reminding Bapodhara that Dilip is their relative. However, Bapodhara argues that Dilip has no connection with them anymore, as Prarthna has filed for divorce.
Dilip accuses Bapodhara of framing him and warns that he won’t be forced out of the colony. He adds, “I’ll make you lose your other ear too.” Enraged, Bapodhara demands that Dilip leave the chawl. Pushpa steps in, declaring that Dilip will stay in her house. Bapodhara objects, claiming Pushpa didn’t seek his permission to house a tenant. Pushpa retorts that Dilip will stay as the father of her children. When Bapodhara questions the legality, the lawyer affirms Pushpa’s rights. Pushpa challenges Bapodhara, vowing to make him return Dilip’s room key within two days. Bapodhara accepts the challenge.
Dilip moves into Pushpa’s house and reflects on how she had ousted him in the past. When Pushpa notices his unease, he admits he’s recalling old memories. Pushpa reassures him, saying, “This is your children’s house too, so relax.” Dilip questions her confidence in retrieving the room key within two days. Pushpa replies that she’ll find a way. Later, Dilip shares with the family that the house feels empty without Prarthna. Chirag urges Pushpa to reveal her plan to get the key.
Meanwhile, Susheela confronts Bapodhara, saying he’s wrong and siding with Dilip. Bapodhara rebukes her, warning her not to take Dilip’s side. He remains adamant, saying, “Pushpa gave me two days, but I won’t hand over the room to Dilip.” Sunny advises Bapodhara not to lose Pushpa’s support, cautioning that it might affect his election prospects. However, Bapodhara dismisses the warning, insisting he isn’t afraid of Pushpa. Susheela, frustrated, walks away.
Back at home, Pushpa tells her family that Bapodhara’s actions are unjust and that he needs to learn a lesson. Dilip, however, remains skeptical, stating, “Bapodhara won’t change, and even if he wins the election, he’ll still try to evict me.”
