The episode starts with Gauri coming to Basanti’s shop.
She grabs a boiling tea kettle. Pushpa asks her what she wants. Gauri says she wants to pour tea on her, threatening not to leave her for trapping her husband, Shekhar. Pushpa tries to calm her down, suggesting they talk things out. She asks Gauri to place the kettle on the stove, warning her that her hand will burn. Gauri retorts, saying that Pushpa can’t be Basanti. Pushpa calmly tells Gauri that she doesn’t remember anything and adds that she and her husband are strangers to her. She then hands Gauri the tea. Everyone is surprised by Basanti’s calm and composed change. The house owner, who overhears everything, tells Pushpa that she can’t be Basanti and comments on her change.
Pushpa’s kids shower her with love and affection. Basanti, in turn, reflects on how much love Pushpa is receiving from everyone. Deepti and Ashwin ask Pushpa to manage at school the next day, assuring her that she can handle it even though she has forgotten her memory. Prathna makes some sweets and asks Pushpa to take them to her mother.
Pushpa confides in the house owner, telling him that she also feels she’s not Basanti, as she doesn’t recognize any of them. The house owner insists that she can’t be Basanti because she is too calm and composed, unlike Basanti. He suggests that the doctor must have altered her brain and leaves. The butler asks Pushpa how she handled Gauri so well. Pushpa responds that Gauri is not at fault—no woman can live happily knowing her husband loves someone else.
Basanti takes Sheera to Bapodhara’s house and gives it to Susheela, saying it’s from Prathna. Bapodhara asks Pushpa what she was talking to Hasmukh about. Pushpa reveals what Hasmukh said about him, Mahindra, Shobha, and Ashawari. She mentions that Hasmukh called him his best friend. Bapodhara and Susheela warn Pushpa that Hasmukh is her enemy and everyone else’s. Bapodhara says that Hasmukh is using her state of mind to manipulate her with lies. Pushpa remarks that she would have slapped Hasmukh if she had known the truth earlier.
While at the house, she notices a gold chain. Pushpa tries to stop herself from stealing it but eventually takes the chain while playing with Roshan. She leaves, and Bapodhara and Susheela are left confused, noticing the change in Pushpa’s behavior.
The next day, Basanti notices that her wig is missing. She sneaks into the bathroom, wears the wig, and styles it properly. She gets ready, looking like Pushpa, and comes out. Juggal sees her and asks if she is ready to go to school. Basanti, pretending to be Pushpa, says she doesn’t know what to do at school. Rashi suggests that Pushpa should go to school for Nanavati, as she might remember her past after encountering familiar places. Juggal insists that Pushpa should come with him, and Basanti, acting like Pushpa, agrees.
Meanwhile, Pushpa, looking at the salwar suits, wonders why she didn’t wear a saree. She takes out the saree Shekhar had gifted her. She wonders why she only has one saree and discovers an album hidden inside it. Flipping through the album, she sees pictures of Basanti and Shekhar together. The butler enters, and Pushpa asks why she didn’t have three dots on her chin in the past. The butler tells her a story about Patoda, explaining that she may have had the dots to escape from Lallan. Pushpa says she feels a connection to the Patoda word.
On the way, Pushpa tells Juggal that she doesn’t want to go to school. Juggal insists that she can manage at school. Pushpa then asks him about their past. Juggal tells her how they used to study in Gujarat and shares how they came to Mumbai.
Later, Pushpa looks at herself in the mirror and wonders why she can’t recall her past. She wears the saree gifted by Shekhar, but she’s confused, as in the photos, she’s wearing a salwar kameez. Juggal takes Basanti to Nanavati school, where the staff warmly welcomes Pushpa. Basanti looks on silently. Juggal tells the staff members that Pushpa has lost her memory and doesn’t remember them.
