The episode starts with Rashi complaining to Pushpa about Prathna. She tells Pushpa that she can’t take Prathna to the get-together and asks Pushpa to tell Prathna. Pushpa asks Rashi to take Prathna. Rashi says she can’t take Prathna with her and comments on her. Prathna returns home and overhears it and feels bad. Rashi sees Prathna and leaves from there. Pushpa asks Prathna to not feel bad. She tells Prathna that Rashi is just a kid and asks her to not feel bad. Rashi wipes her tears. Prathna shows her the dress Chirag purchased for her for Diwali. Pushpa says the dress is good and doesn’t know how Chirag will win the challenge. Prathna says Chirag doesn’t have a proper plan with him.
Later Sonal and Manish tell Pushpa that they want to invite Prathna and her family and Chirag to their place for dinner. Pushpa says Bapodhara will not agree. Manish says it’s the idea to clear the differences between both families. Pushpa thanks them for thinking about it. Manish and Sonal invite Bapodhara and his wife to their home for dinner. Bapodhara says Chirag and Prathna’s marriage doesn’t long lost so their is no meaning to this dinner meeting. Sonal asks Bapodhara to come to their house thinking of it as a Diwali party invitation. Bapodhara agrees. Pushpa asks Susheela where is Chirag? Susheela says he hasn’t come from office.
Rashi comes into the house and recalls what happened. Rashi comes to Prathna and apologises to Prathna for her behaviour.Prathna asks Rashi to leave it. Rashi says she will not do something like this again. Prathna agrees.
Deepti talks with her mother. Sonal asks Deepti if everything is alright with Ashwin? Deepti says Ashwin has become a little busy lately and says he has a friend who is influential and Ashwin is spending too much time with him. Sonal hearing this says to Deepti they also went through that phase and at that time Manish was always there for her when she was busy. Sonal advises Deepti to stretch herself a little and not put her expectations burden on him. Deepti thinks about Sonal’s advice.
Chirag gives paper lantern to all the people in the chawl. Pushpa comes and praises Chirag for his idea to give paper lanterns to all the people in the chawl. Chirag gifts a saree to Pushpa. Pushpa later asks Chirag to figure out a way to get the keys from Bapodara. Chirag agrees.
Pushpa praises his paper lantern idea. Chirag says there is something special in this paper lantern. Pushpa asks what is it? Chirag asks Pushpa to turn on the switch.
Bapodara tries to take off the paper lantern that is infront of his house. Pushpa turns on the switch. Bapodara sees his and Prathna’s photo on the paper lanterns. All the chawl people see theie photos on the paper lanterns and gets impressed with it.

Precap:-Ashwin asks Chirag if he thought of a way how to get the keys back from Bapodara. Chirag says no. Bapodara eavesdrops on their conversation. Bapodara decides to put pressure on Chirag.
Bapodara says to Chirag that if he is able to make him give back the keys to Pushpa then Tana Bana’s room will be Pushpa’s and if he is not able to do it Prathna will return to his home and Tana Bana room will also belong to him. Bapodara asks Chirag if he will accept this condition.
