The episode starts with Nandu saying to Bhagwati that Shiv will agree to marriage with Shakti. Mandira also says yes. Raghunath says they will first take Shiv’s opinion about his marriage. Bhagwati says to her family that they will first tell Shiv about this marriage on the day of Roop Chaudas. Mandira thinks if the family tells Shiv about this marriage proposal then he wouldn’t allow them to go as Shiv is still living in his past and he still doesn’t realise that he loves Shakti.
Shiv says to Shakti in his heart that she doesn’t how he feels as when he couldn’t treat a patient and how he feels when his hands gets jammed seeing the blood. Shiv says to Shakti in his heart that he wants to give India a great doctor so that she can treat every kind of patient and for that she needs to attend every class. Shiv says to Shakti in her heart that she shouldn’t have bunked the classes. Shiv thinks of his past and feels shattered.
Shakti thinks she couldn’t tell the truth to Shiv without a proper proof against Mandira as Shiv really trusts Mandira too much.
The next day, Bhagwati and Mandira talk about Bhagwati inviting Shakti to their home. Bhagwati asks Mandira to tell Shiv that they are going to ask Shakti’s hand for marriage for Shiv. Mandira agrees.
In the Sharma Sadan, Manorama applies Haldi to Shakti and says to Shakti the importance of Roop Chaudas. Rimjim sees that Shakti hasn’t told Manorama about Keertan and her so she decides to tell Manorama herself.
Rimjim says to Manorama that she and Keertan love each other and says they want to get married. Manorama says to Rimjim that she doesn’t have any objection to this marriage but she has a condition. Manorama says she wants the marriage proposal to come from Keertan’s house. Rimjim reminds that they are Groom’s family. Manorama says she already burnt her hand once and she can’t burn it again. Manorama says to Shakti that Bhagwati called her to Kashyap Sadan. Manorama asks Shakti to bring the Uptan that Bhagwati will give her. Shakti agrees.
Mandira sees Shakti coming to their home. Mandira thinks she has to make sure that Keertan doesn’t open his mouth infront of Shakti like an idiot.
