The episode starts with Shiv saying to Shakti the importance of Dhanteras and he hopes that Shakti will become a great doctor. Shiv asks Shakti to light Diya for his grandfather today. Shakti agrees and takes blessings from Shiv’s grandfather. Mandira sees Shiv and Shakti from a distance. Shakti asks Shiv’s grandfather if Shiv got all of the qualities from him and thanks Shiv’s grandfather for raising Shiv. Shiv asks his grandfather to bless Shakti. Shakti sees Shiv talking and suddenly kisses him on the cheek. Shiv goes silent seeing this. Shakti later comes out of her trance and realises she is just daydreaming. Shiv says to Shakti that she is being late so he asks Shakti to go to the auditorium. Shakti agrees and leaves from there.
Mandira thinks after some time Shakti is going to hate Shiv. Mandira calls Purnendu ji and says to him that she is coming home right away.
Shiv shows Shakti her class. The students see Shiv and Shakti and they gossip about her. Shakti hears the gossip about her and Shiv. The students keep a distance from Shakti.
Mandira calls all the family members and invites Purnendu ji into the house. Purnendu ji prays to God. Everyone takes Purnendu ji’s blessings.
Bhagwati asks Sundari to go and prepare something for Purnendu ji and bring some sweet before that. Purnendu ji later says to Kashyap family that it’s time for them to get out of their bad time and for that they themselves need to invite Shakti into this house.
Shakti introduces herself to her classmates. Her classmates mock Shakti. Shakti later encourages herself.
Purnendu ji says to Kashyap family that it is time for Shiv and Shakti to come together. Bhagwati feels elated hearing this. Bhagwati asks Purnendu when should they go and ask for Shakti’s hand in marriage. Purnendu ji says the Diwali is the most auspicious day for it.
Purnendu ji says Shakti needs to fulfill 5 conditions for Shakti to be Shiv’s wife.
Purnendu tells the five conditions one by one but it shown that Mandira asks Purnendu to put forth these conditions and Mandira vows to make sure that Shakti will not be able to fulfill any of these five conditions. Kashyap family after hearing about the 5 conditions thinks Shakti fulfill all the conditions.
It is shown Mandira says to Purnendu ji that she will play a game in such a way that her own family will hate her and Kashyap family will think Shakti doesn’t deserve to be Shiv’s wife.
Purnendu ji asks Bhagwati to go and ask Shakti’s hand for Shiv.
