Star Plus’ newly launched show Rajjo is about the life story of Rajjo, who loves running, and Arjun who is also a racer.
In the first episode, it’s seen that Rajjo’s mom Manorama tells Rajju about a mega veneration organized in the village for Lord Shiva on the occasion of the first Monday of the monsoon. She further says that any wish made on this day will be filled.
Rajjo wishes to get new shoes for her mother. Rajjo goes to sell fish. Manorama asks her to not run and walk and threatens to burn her feet if she disobeys.
However, Rajjo reaches the fisher market by running. After that Rajjo goes to sell damrus at the fair to save money to buy shoes for her mom. Meanwhile, Arjun, who is also a racer, lands on the ground in a parachute.
His friend teases him for being a perfectionist. Arjun tells that he likes to plan everything to be ahead of time so that it can not change anything in his life again. Arjun tells his friend about going to return to the US. He asks him to keep it away from his family and his fiancee Urvashi.
Arjun also arrives at the fair to promote fertilizer which is his family business. Meanwhile, the engineers are worried about the increasing water level and breaking of the dam due to the continuous heavy rain on the top of the hills.
Rajjo hides when she hits Arjun with a damru mistakenly. She runs into him while running away and breaks his phone.
Arjun gets determined to make her pay her heavily for her act by the end of the fair. Other hand Manorama is worried about Rajjo who didn’t return home yet. Due to heavy wind, a gold metal falls on her lap.
On seeing the gold medal she recalls how she used to be a runner and won state level gold medal in running, how her sports coach, Pushkar Chaudary, ditched her after making her pregnant and threw her out of the academy by humiliating her when she questioned him. She got determined to never let Rajjo run which was the reason for her destruction.
Meanwhile, Rajjo sees a poster for a running race in which the first prize is a pair of shoes. She gets determined to participate in that race to win shoes for her mom.
In the upcoming episode, it will be seen that Arjun will stop Rajju from participating in the running competition. Yet Rajju will run by pushing him apart. The dam will break and the village will be flooded with water.
Arjun’s mother will get worried about Arjun on seeing this in the news. Rajjo and Manorama will get separated in the flood.
Will Rajjo win the competition? Will Rajjo be able to find her mom?
