Episode starts with Mishra fighting with Sunny’s mother. He keeps on shouting at the top of his voice. He says that such bad times have not come yet that he will get his daughter married to an incapable boy like Sunny. Sunny’s mother curses the entire Mishra family. She says that it doesn’t take much time for destiny to change. Soon they would witness a time when they would be in despair and have nothing to even eat. Geeta curses Isha saying she will get married with such a boy who would be so disgusting that Isha’s life would become worse and only then they will realise how it feels like when one’s child is in pain. Sumitra requests Geeta to not say like this about Isha since she is their daughter and they are all family. Geeta stops her saying she already tasted the flavour of friendship with them today and they showed very potently what they mean to them. She says that on the pious day of Maha Kumbh they earned the curse of a mother whom they hurt. Then she leaves from there angrily while Isha calls her from behind and tries to stop her.
Later in the evening, while doing aarti of her daughters Sumitra looks stressed so Isha tries to call her down and says she must forget whatever happened and the elders don’t really curse. She says whatever her aunt said was in due to anguish and nothing would happen that way. Sumitra tells Isha that she won’t understand the fear of a mother. She tells Mishra that on the day of Maha Kumbh it was utterly not necessary to misbehave with Geeta like this. Besides they have been friends for the past forty years so he must have thought before saying all this. Mishra asks if she is saying that like all other times this is his fault. Isha says that he should have spoken softly and made her understand the same thing politely. She requests his father to call Dilip uncle and apologise to him but her sister says there’s no need. Isha scolds her for saying this but she says there’s no need since Dilip uncle is already here.
Dilip walks forward and says that he hopes he isn’t too late for the kirtan. Mishra smiles and hugs Dilip saying he is a true friend. Mishra says he had a fight with his wife and is sorry for that. Dilip says it’s completely okay and he knows the fault must have been Geeta’s. She must have not said all these things at all and their son is really not that capable. Mishra says he must not say like this and Sunny is also like his son. Dilip praises Isha and says to Mishra that he is very lucky to have a daughter like this since she is the real Lakshmi and wherever she would step in she would make that place pious. He also says that Isha told him everything and apologised on his behalf. This makes Mishra feel a bit guilty.
Om comes back home and gets ready for the aarti of Maha Kumbh. His parents wait for Gayatri and Jgdish to come back but since they become late, Om convinces his family to start the aarti on time . Gayatri gets to know that Ram Bhavan is kept on mortgage in the bank due to Acharya’s foolishness and boils in anger. She is told by her lawyer that they would surely find a way to win the case. Gayatri and Jagdish come back home and find Om and the entire family doing the aarti without her and fumes up in anger. She decides to teach all of them a lesson.
