The episode begins with Satendra asking Mitti what Akash has done wrong for her to file a police complaint against him. Mitti recalls her bitter memories with Akash and says that he lied to her. Satendra tells her that the law cannot help in such personal matters and comments on it, prompting Mitti to respond sharply about the system. Satendra explains that he can only file a case against Akash if they have evidence that can hold up in court.
Mitti insists that she does have proof. She reveals that Akash’s suicide attempt was fake and that he only consumed enough sleeping pills to get sick, not to die. She further claims that Akash sexually exploited Naina, and that Akash and Prithvi bribed Naina’s family to withdraw the case. Satendra warns Mitti that if these charges cannot be proven, Akash might escape punishment, retaliate against her, freeze her accounts, and even take Chirag away from her.
Hearing this, Mitti grows emotional and remains silent. Tears roll down her cheeks as Satendra offers her his handkerchief. When Mitti asks what she should do next, Satendra says that without solid proof, they can’t win the case. Determined, Mitti says she has made her decision—she will divorce Akash. As she gets ready to leave, Satendra stops her and offers his help. Mitti asks if he can take her to meet Amrita, and he agrees. He asks her to book a cab, saying it wouldn’t look right for them to go on his bike. Mitti books the cab, and they leave together to meet Amrita.
Meanwhile, at Akash’s house, Kuljeet makes arrangements to welcome him back from the hospital. He is overjoyed after hearing that Mitti is pregnant. Kuljeet tells Akash’s father that another “Chirag” is coming home soon. Just then, Chirag walks in and proudly says he’s the only Chirag in his class. Akash’s father smiles and tells Chirag that he’s going to be a big brother and that everything will be fine from now on.
At Amrita’s office, Mitti tells her that she wants a divorce from Akash. Amrita reminds Mitti that, as a government prosecutor, she cannot take up her case. Mitti says she only came for legal advice. Amrita warns her that the custody battle will be difficult since Chirag is a boy and, in today’s world, families tend to favor boys more than girls. Mitti comments bitterly on the truth of it. Amrita then introduces her colleague, who will handle Mitti’s divorce case. Mitti greets the lawyer and later leaves.
After Mitti leaves, Amrita tells Satendra that usually an ex-lover would be happy to see the woman he loved getting divorced, but he doesn’t seem happy. Satendra replies that this isn’t about him; it’s about Mitti, who is losing a lot. Amrita asks him what he really wants. Satendra replies that he wants justice for Mitti and walks away. Watching him leave, Amrita thinks to herself that it would have been nice if there had been someone to fight for justice for her too.
At the hospital, Akash feels relieved that he is finally being discharged. Prithvi teases him, asking if he should arrange for a nurse to take care of him—adding that he could take care of the nurse as well. Akash arrogantly says that Mitti will take care of him and makes a snide comment.
Later, Mitti recalls Amrita’s warning that the Malhotra family might try to assassinate her character in court.

She adds that she must stop Amrita from sending the divorce papers. Mitti says she will get divorced—but only after gathering all the evidence needed to expose Akash completely.
