In the upcoming episode of Zee TV’s Saru, tensions escalate as Tara’s long-buried insecurities turn into open humiliation for Saroja. Tara introduces Saroja to her friends as her “in-law,” but pointedly adds that Saroja once worked as a servant in their house, leaving Saroja embarrassed. When Tara orders her to clear the glasses, Saroja quietly obeys. However, Tara deliberately makes her trip, causing the glasses to fall and shatter. Tara immediately raises her hand to slap Saroja, shocking everyone.
Before Tara can touch her, Saru steps in and firmly holds Tara’s hand, warning her that she may tolerate insults directed at herself, but she will never allow anyone to disrespect her mother. At that moment, Ved walks in and witnesses only Saru pushing Tara’s hand away, completely misinterpreting the situation.
Ved confronts Saru and commands her to apologise to Tara immediately. Saru, holding back tears, refuses. She tells Ved that apologising would mean accepting an insult against her mother, and she can never do that—even if it costs her peace at home. Ved is left stunned as the misunderstanding grows deeper.
