The episode starts with Kailashnath asking Jyoti to call Deepa. Jyoti tells Kailashnath that Deepa has gone outside with Vijayanti. Bhagyasree recalls Vijayanti promising her that she would get justice for Deepa. Bhagyasree tells Kailashnath that Deepa has gone out and asks Jyoti to stay there until she returns. Jyoti agrees.
Kailashnath tells Karthik that he should take care of Deepa, as he has taken responsibility for her, and should resolve any problems she faces. Karthik agrees and takes Jyoti to play with him. Kanika gets upset on seeing this.
Deepa walks listlessly along the road, recalling Vijayanti’s harsh words.
Deepa remembers Vijayanti breaking all ties with her and her daughter. She tells herself that Vijayanti has betrayed her as well. Deepa thinks that, apart from Jyoti, there is no one else in her life. She decides that to make Jyoti’s life better, she must educate her. She also feels the need to get a job to earn money.
Lakshman comes to the bus stop and asks Deepa if bus number 12 has arrived. Deepa says she doesn’t know. Lakshman notices that Deepa looks disturbed and offers her some water. He comforts her and asks if she has come to the city to start a new life. Deepa replies negatively and comments on it. Later, Deepa asks Lakshman why he looks disturbed.
Lakshman tells Deepa that he came to the city and started a small hotel to make a living, and it was going well initially. Later, many hotels opened on the same street, and other owners poached his workers. Now, he is not even able to pay the shop rent, so he plans to return to his village. Deepa asks Lakshman not to lose hope and says she will work with him to run the hotel. Lakshman considers it a sign from God and accepts Deepa’s help.
Karthik plays with Jyoti. Chitralekha asks Kanika to take Karthik out and spend time with him, saying that she will handle Jyoti. Kanika agrees.
Kanika approaches Karthik and asks him to go out with her, saying she wants to step outside. She requests him to take her in the car. Karthik asks why she cannot go alone. Kanika tells him that after the accident, she is scared to drive. Hearing this, Karthik agrees. He asks Jyoti to play with Chitralekha and leaves with Kanika.
Deepa opens the hotel stall with Lakshman and prepares tea. On the way, Karthik asks Kanika where she wants to go. Kanika suggests a café, but Karthik says they always go to cafés and suggests having tea instead. Kanika agrees.
Deepa serves tea to Lakshman, who tastes it and praises her. Deepa hopes that the customers will like it too. Karthik stops the car for tea. Kanika says she will not have it and asks Karthik to go ahead. Karthik agrees and steps out.
Karthik is shocked to see Deepa working at the hotel, and Deepa is equally surprised to see him.
