The episode starts with Bhanu questioning Karthik about his relationship with Deepa. Karthik warns Bhanu that if he speaks nonsense, he will kill him. Bhanu comments on Karthik and asks why Deepa is staying in this house without having any relationship with him. Bhanu also questions Karthik about why he cares for Jyoti as if she were his own daughter. Karthik again warns Bhanu that if he speaks one more word, he will kill him.
Bhanu argues with Karthik and accuses him of having an illicit affair with Deepa, claiming that this is why Karthik has kept Deepa in his relatives’ house.
Karthik hits Bhanu, and Deepa asks him to stop. Deepa questions Bhanu about why he does not leave her alone. Bhanu says that as long as she stays in this house, he will not leave her. Bhagyasree asks Bhanu where Deepa will go if she does not stay here. Chitralekha says that Deepa should go to her husband’s house.
Bhagyasree explains to Chitralekha that Bhanu has married someone else and abandoned Deepa. Karthik is shocked to hear this. Bhanu comments that Deepa has made him look like a villain. He tells the Kothari family that he does not want Deepa to stay in this house.
Bhagyasree slaps Bhanu and questions who he is to decide whether Deepa will stay in the house or not. Bhanu asks Bhagyasree why she supports Deepa. Bhagyasree reveals that she is Deepa’s mother. Bhanu then comments rudely on Bhagyasree.
Kailashnath confronts Bhanu for speaking rudely to his daughter-in-law and asks Mahindra to call the police. Deepa pleads with Mahindra not to call the police. Bhanu makes another comment on Deepa and then leaves.
Chitralekha complains to the Kothari family that since Deepa entered the house, there has only been trouble. She claims that Kanika lost the Miss Hyderabad crown because of Deepa and calls her a jinx. Kailashnath asks Chitralekha not to label Deepa as a jinx. Bhagyasree also supports Deepa.
Kanika questions Kailashnath about what was wrong in Chitralekha’s statement. She says Bhanu is not even worthy of standing in front of them, yet he dared to speak rudely against Karthik. Bhagyasree explains that Bhanu behaved that way because he was drunk and asks Kanika not to take it personally. Kanika questions how she can not take it personally and reminds the family how deeply she loves Karthik. Karthik asks Kanika what she wants to say. Kanika says she sensed truth in his voice. Bhagyasree asks Kanika to go to her room, but Kanika comments back. Kailashnath asks Kanika not to blame Deepa for something she has not done. Kanika accuses her family of not understanding her emotional turmoil and leaves.
Deepa reflects on her situation and becomes emotional. Karthik comes to her, and Deepa tells him that there is no need for him to take responsibility for her. Karthik explains that when he first met her, he thought saying sorry was enough, but after learning about her situation, he realized that taking responsibility was necessary. Karthik apologizes to Deepa and assures her that he will take responsibility for her, no matter how much he hates the situation.
