The episode starts with Karthik recalling Bhanu questioning him and Kanika accusing him of having no answer to Bhanu’s questions.
Kanchan comes to Karthik and asks what he is thinking about.
Ranjit approaches Karthik and reprimands him, saying that he had already told him not to interfere in other people’s business. Ranjit tells Bhanu that Karthik is not even worthy to stand in front of them. He also tells Karthik that he should have beaten him. Karthik replies that this is exactly what he has done. Ranjit then tells Kanchan that they should fix the wedding date of Karthik and Kanika. Karthik tells Ranjit and Kanchan that he has something to tell them and will reveal it when the time is right. He asks his parents to be patient until then and leaves.
Jyoti asks Deepa if she is really going to join a new school. Deepa says yes and adds that she will start going to work from tomorrow. She asks Jyoti to stay home and not go anywhere. Jyoti asks if she can go to Karthik’s house, but Deepa refuses, recalling Karthik. Jyoti thinks that Deepa always gets angry whenever Karthik is mentioned.
The next day, Deepa works at the hotel. The customers praise her cooking. Karthik comes to Lakshman’s hotel to try Deepa’s food. He eats Deepa’s Upma and praises it, asking for the recipe because he wants to try it in his hotel. Lakshman is surprised that Karthik, the owner of a restaurant, is eating at his hotel. Lakshman tells Karthik that the recipe is their hotel secret, and Karthik agrees. He gives money to Deepa and asks if she needs any help. Deepa comments on it, and Karthik leaves.
Kanika recalls Bhagyasree taking a stand for Deepa. Bhagyasree comes to Kanika and offers her milk. Kanika makes Bhagyasree sit down and apologizes for her earlier rude behavior. Bhagyasree tells Kanika to forget what happened. Kanika replies that she cannot forget Bhanu’s words no matter how hard she tries. She also says she doesn’t understand why Bhagyasree supports Deepa so much. Bhagyasree explains that she feels a connection with Deepa and just wants to help her. Kanika remarks that what Bhagyasree does seems helpful, but what Karthik does does not, to which Bhagyasree responds that Kanika is mistaken if she thinks Deepa receives more importance than Kanika.
Jyoti notices Mahindra struggling to solve a Rubik’s cube. He asks Jyoti to try, and she solves it easily. Mahindra praises her. Karthik approaches Mahindra, who tells him that if Jyoti is admitted to a good school, she will be very successful. Karthik asks if Jyoti is capable of competing with students from an international school. Mahindra makes Jyoti solve the Rubik’s cube in front of Karthik, who is impressed. Karthik decides to take Jyoti to an international school for admission and asks her to inform Deepa that Bhagyasree suggested the admission. Jyoti agrees.
Deepa catches Jyoti as Karthik is about to take her without informing Deepa. She confronts Jyoti about where she is going. Karthik explains that he is taking Jyoti to an international school for admission and says Bhagyasree suggested it. Deepa says Bhagyasree hasn’t told her anything, and Karthik replies that he thought she had.
Chitralekha shows Kanika how Karthik is talking to Deepa and remarks that it looks like a husband and wife speaking while their child is beside them. Kanika asks Chitralekha to stop.
Deepa asks Karthik to tell her about the school so she can get Jyoti admitted, and Karthik agrees. Chitralekha tells Kanika to wait, saying Deepa will definitely get Jyoti admitted to an international school because Karthik is supporting her. Kanika gets upset and leaves.

Precap: Karthik learns from Jyoti that she could not get admission because Deepa has only studied till 5th class. He takes Jyoti to the school, confronts the principal, signs the application in the father’s place, and gets Jyoti admitted. Bhanu learns about it and becomes upset.
