The episode starts with Deepa getting shocked upon hearing the temple bell, which is rung by Jyoti with Karthik’s help. Deepa leaves the area and then sees Bantu with the man who previously tried to attack Bhagyashree at the temple, while Jyoti happily spends time with Karthik and his family. Deepa rushes to Karthik and his family, informing them that she saw Bhagyashree’s attacker with Bantu. Everyone is shocked, especially Chitralekha. Karthik rushes off, followed by his family. Chitralekha worries she may get caught, so she becomes determined to stop Bantu from revealing her name.
Karthik meets Bantu, who pretends to be on a call. He demands an answer from Bantu for speaking with Bhagyashree’s attacker. Bantu is shocked and remains silent. Karthik continues his questions. Chitralekha worries Bantu will reveal her involvement in Bhagyashree’s attack, so she intervenes and questions Bantu to tell the truth. She also slaps him but secretly requests Bantu not to reveal the truth. So Bantu lies that he doesn’t know who the man is. He claims he was on the phone when the man approached him to ask about the location of nearby hospitals. Karthik questions his statement, so Bantu puts on an act in front of everyone, claiming to be an innocent person. Karthik then tells the family that if Bantu is telling the truth, the attacker is keeping an eye on their family and closely following them. They all leave except Deepa, Jyoti, and Bantu. Deepa stares at Bantu, who gets nervous.
Later, Chitralekha rebukes Bantu for his actions. She also asks him the reason behind meeting Bhagyashree’s attacker at the temple. Bantu tells her that the man is demanding money because he took half of it earlier. Chitralekha gets annoyed and scolds Bantu. She gets furious when Bantu asks her to give him ten thousand rupees or else he will take half of the amount this time too. He also tells Chitralekha that he will do anything for her. Chitralekha beats him up and then leaves. Bantu says to himself that he considers Chitralekha as his own mother.
In the kitchen, Deepa is seen preparing all of Kanika’s favorite dishes. Bhagyashree arrives and admires Deepa from afar. She becomes determined to find out about Deepa’s husband. So she sends Juhi away with a task, then initiates a conversation with Deepa. At first, both of them praise each other’s cooking skills. Bhagyashree tells Deepa that she feels a connection with her. She then asks Deepa about her husband. Instead of answering that question, Deepa tells Bhagyashree that she has prepared Kanika’s favorite dishes. Bhagyashree gets upset.
Here, Karthik confronts Chitralekha for trying to set him up with Kanika, whom he considers only a friend. He also requests Chitralekha to stop his wedding with Kanika. Chitralekha assures him, but after Karthik leaves, she says to herself that she will make sure Karthik marries Kanika. Meanwhile, Kanika and her parents praise Deepa after tasting the food she prepared. Bhagyashree makes Karthik taste the kheer, which he also likes, so she asks Karthik to hire Bhagyashree as a head chef in the restaurant he is planning to open. Karthik says he has no problem hiring Deepa, but Deepa refuses, saying that she has to return to her village.
Precap: Jyoti informs Deepa about Bhanu’s presence, so Deepa goes to him. Bhanu questions Deepa about her and Karthik’s relationship. Deepa takes a firm stand for herself. Bhanu tries to forcibly take Deepa from there, but Bhagyashree comes to Deepa’s rescue, saying that she is Deepa’s mother.
