The episode starts with Ranjit giving milk to Kanchan. Kanchan tells Ranjit that she does not like him doing work for her. Karthik comes to Kanchan, and she asks him to hire a cook. Kanchan tells Karthik that Ranjit always does something for her and often gets injured. Ranjit asks Karthik to get married and says that if he gets married, Kanika and he will do all the work together. Kanchan tells Ranjit that she will not allow Kanika to do any household chores. Ranjit and Kanchan question Karthik about when he will get married. Karthik decides to tell his parents that he does not want to marry Kanika when the time is right. He later diverts the topic, saying that he will think about marriage after the opening of their new hotel two months later, and then leaves.
Kanika complains to Chitralekha about Karthik not caring for her. She tells Chitralekha that once Karthik ran into Jyoti, he forgot that she was with him and made a comment about it. Kanika says she is worried that Chitralekha’s prediction about Karthik and Deepa being together might come true and asks her to do something. Chitralekha says she will think of a way and mentions that she will talk to Jyoti. Kanika asks what Jyoti will tell her, and Chitralekha comments on it.
Jyoti talks to Deepa about going to her new school. She tells Deepa that if she had her bicycle, she would have gone to school on it. Chitralekha comes and talks to both Deepa and Jyoti.
Chitralekha learns from Jyoti that Deepa bought her a bicycle by winning a third prize in a cycle race. Jyoti also reveals that Karthik is the one who gave the bicycle to Deepa. Chitralekha is surprised to learn that Karthik and Deepa knew each other earlier. She asks Jyoti whether Karthik had visited their home before. Deepa lashes out at Chitralekha and tells her to ask Karthik directly if she has any questions.
The next day, Karthik brings Jyoti to the school. He asks the principal if it is true that Jyoti was denied admission because her parents are uneducated. The principal agrees. Karthik then brings the principal’s father and asks what the father has studied. The principal admits that his father is uneducated. Karthik tells the principal that according to the school’s logic, he is also unfit to be a principal. The principal apologises and assures him that Jyoti will get admission. Karthik asks the principal not to admit Jyoti based on his recommendation and requests that she be given an admission test. The principal agrees and calls teacher Shivani to conduct the test. Shivani recognises Karthik as Kanika’s fiancé.
Shivani steps aside and informs Kanika that Karthik has come to the school with Jyoti.
Kanika goes to Chitralekha and tells her that Karthik is admitting Jyoti to an international school, just as she had predicted. Kanika and Chitralekha leave for the school.
They see Karthik talking to Jyoti outside the school. Bhanu also spots Karthik and Jyoti together.
Bhanu tries to enter the principal’s office to find out what is going on, but the peon, Jawahar, stops him and says he will help him find out.
When the principal calls Jawahar into the office, he notices that Karthik has written his own name in the place of Jyoti’s father’s name. Jawahar brings a bag and books for Jyoti. Karthik takes the items and leaves with Jyoti.
Kanika gets upset about Karthik admitting Jyoti to the school. When she tries to confront him, Chitralekha stops her and says they should go to the person who controls Karthik.
Episode ends.
Precap: Deepa questions Karthik about admitting Jyoti to a school without informing her. Karthik explains that Jyoti does not like the school Deepa had chosen. Deepa says that it is her and Jyoti’s problem, not his, and comments on it.
Bhanu asks Deepa whether Jyoti is his daughter or Karthik’s. He shows Deepa that Karthik has written his name in the father’s column for Jyoti and asks her to remove her mangalsutra, claiming Jyoti is not his daughter. Deepa pushes Bhanu away. Karthik arrives at Lakshman’s hotel, witnesses Bhanu’s misbehaviour with Deepa, and decides to teach him a lesson.
Our Take :
Karthik’s strong stand for Jyoti’s education highlights his moral values and clearly hints at his growing concern for Deepa and her daughter. At the same time, Kanika’s insecurity deepens as Chitralekha’s prediction slowly begins to come true, adding emotional tension and complexity to the relationships. The controversy surrounding the father’s name further intensifies the drama, setting the stage for a major emotional confrontation in the upcoming episodes.
