The episode starts with Bhanu entering the Kothari house disguised as a servant, hiding his face. Deepa doesn’t see his face but feels suspicious. Karthik arrives and asks Deepa why there are so many arrangements just for Chintu’s birthday party. Deepa lies and says yes. Karthik says the rangoli looks beautiful and mentions that it is usually done for roka or marriage functions, so why for a birthday. Deepa smartly covers the situation without revealing that the family is planning his roka with Kanika.
Suddenly, the wind blows and the colours are about to fall on the rangoli. Deepa and Karthik quickly place their hands over it to stop the colours, sharing a cute moment. Karthik says that as long as he is there, he won’t let her hard work get ruined. Deepa says she can manage and asks him to go inside as everyone is waiting for him.
Kanika gets ready for the roka. Chitralekha praises her beauty and puts a black teeka on her. Kanika says that getting Karthik is her zidd, and she is sure she will win him.
In the hall, family members tease Chitralekha by asking which year’s birthday it is. Karthik feels tense. Deepa looks for Jyoti. Kanchan notices Karthik’s uneasiness and asks what happened. Karthik says he doesn’t know but feels that something wrong is about to happen.
Jyoti goes near a teddy, which turns out to be Bhanu’s trap. Seeing the right moment, Bhanu kidnaps Jyoti and takes her away in a taxi. Deepa arrives and sees this. She runs behind the taxi to save her daughter.

Deepa struggles to understand how to save Jyoti. Later, Karthik questions his mother about not taking his opinion. Kanchan says it was meant to be a surprise and that they had been waiting for this day for a long time. She emotionally shares that she wants to dance and do everything but is confined to a wheelchair. She adds that Kanika never made her feel low, and she is happy to accept her as her daughter-in-law. She asks Karthik not to hurt Kanika. Karthik thinks that he is feeling suffocated by this roka and wonders how to express it.
Chitralekha makes Karthik stand beside Kanika and announces that today two families and two hearts are going to unite. Karthik questions Kanika for not taking his opinion. Kanika says everyone, including his mother, is happy and asks what his problem is.
Jyoti bites Bhanu’s hand. Deepa blocks Bhanu’s car by placing a handcart with wood in front of it. Bhanu stops the car. Deepa confronts him and asks Jyoti to run away. Jyoti escapes, but Bhanu threatens Deepa. Deepa hits him on the head with a bottle. While running, Jyoti falls, injures her head, and becomes unconscious. Deepa panics seeing Jyoti in that condition.
At the house, the family asks Karthik and Kanika to sit for the roka ceremony. Everyone is happy, but Karthik wonders where Deepa and Jyoti are. He feels something is seriously wrong.
