The episode starts with Chitralekha telling Kanika that they have won in the end. Chitralekha looks at Kailashnath and thinks that everyone present believes Mahindra’s daughter is getting engaged, but no one knows that Kanika is actually Chitralekha’s granddaughter.
Karthik’s family asks him to sit for the pre-engagement ceremony.
Deepa tries to get a lift to go to the hospital with Jyoti. She gets into an auto and assures Jyoti that nothing will happen to her.
Kanchan and Bhagyashree bless Karthik and Kanika as a couple. Kailashnath asks Karthik and Kanika to pray to God and seek His blessings. Kanika prays to God, saying that her lifelong dream is coming true as she is going to become Karthik’s wife, and hopes that no evil eye falls on them.
Karthik also prays to God and hopes that Deepa and Jyoti are safe, as he is feeling a bad omen for them.
Deepa brings Jyoti to the hospital and gets her admitted. The nurse asks Deepa to complete the formalities. Deepa fills out the form, forgets her phone at the reception, and goes to check on Jyoti.
Chitralekha tells Kanchan that they should fix Karthik and Kanika’s wedding date for next month. She asks Karthik and Kanika to cherish this moment as they are going to be together. Meanwhile, Karthik keeps calling Deepa. The receptionist answers the call and informs Karthik that Deepa has admitted Jyoti to the hospital due to a head injury. Hearing this, Karthik becomes worried about Jyoti. He tells the Kothari family and his own family that he needs to leave. When Kailashnath and the others ask what happened, Karthik simply says he must go and leaves. Kailashnath asks Ranjit what kind of emergency caused Karthik to leave his pre-engagement ceremony.
Deepa asks the doctor about Jyoti’s condition. The doctor tells her that Jyoti has lost a lot of blood and needs blood immediately. Deepa offers to donate her blood, but the doctor says they will first check if her blood group matches Jyoti’s.
Later, the doctor informs Deepa that her blood does not match Jyoti’s and that Jyoti has a rare blood group. Deepa becomes emotional and anxious after hearing this.
Karthik arrives and meets Deepa. Deepa begs him to save Jyoti, saying that she has lost a lot of blood. Karthik comforts Deepa and asks her to stay strong, assuring her that he will donate blood to Jyoti. He then leaves.
Back at the ceremony, Kanchan asks Kanika not to be emotional. Chitralekha questions what Kanika should do other than cry, as Karthik did not care about her feelings before leaving the pre-engagement ceremony. She further asks Karthik’s parents what they would do if he left Kanika during the wedding rituals. Kailashnath angrily asks Chitralekha to stop. He asks Mahindra to call Karthik, but Mahindra later informs him that Karthik’s phone is switched off. Kanika says she knows where Karthik has gone and calls Deepa. The receptionist answers the call, and Kanika asks who she is and where Deepa is.
Karthik meets the doctor and asks him to take his blood for Jyoti, stating that he and Jyoti have the same blood group.
Karthik donates blood to Jyoti. Watching this, Deepa complains to God, thinking that Bhanu, Jyoti’s father, is the one who hurt her, while Karthik—who has no connection to any of this—is the one saving her.
Karthik meets Deepa after some time. Bhanu arrives and comments on Karthik and Deepa’s alleged love affair, saying that every love story needs a villain and that he has come to fill that role.
The episode ends.
Precap: Deepa tells Bhanu that Jyoti is injured because of him and asks him to leave. Bhanu demands that Deepa hand Jyoti over to him. Deepa questions the right he has to ask for Jyoti. Bhanu asks if he is not Jyoti’s father, then who is. Karthik shockingly declares that he is Jyoti’s father. Kanika witnesses this revelation.
Our Take:
Karthik leaving his own pre-engagement ceremony to save Jyoti clearly shows where his priorities lie, even if it risks hurting Kanika. While Chitralekha celebrates her so-called victory, fate seems to be rewriting Karthik’s destiny by pulling him closer to Deepa once again. Bhanu’s entry at the hospital hints that the real storm is yet to begin, and the upcoming truth about Jyoti’s father could change every relationship forever.
