The episode starts with Kanika asking Karthik if he loves her. Kanika tells Karthik that since childhood, she has dreamed of becoming his wife. She says that her dream was about to come true today, but he walked away from it. Kanika asks Karthik to answer her. Karthik tells Kanika that she is his best friend. Kanika stops him and says she has something to tell him. Kanika puts a knife to her wrist and warns Karthik that if he says no to her, she will die.
Jyoti wakes up and asks Deepa to call Karthik, saying she has something important to tell him. Deepa then sees Jyoti becoming unconscious and calls for the doctor. The doctor tells Deepa that Jyoti’s pulse is dropping and she is becoming anxious. The doctor says they must calm her down by doing what she asks. The nurse goes to call Karthik.
Karthik tells Kanika that she is blackmailing him. Kanika says it doesn’t matter how she asks; what matters is his answer. Karthik snatches the knife from Kanika and asks if she has gone crazy. Kanika says she has dreamed of becoming his wife, so it is right for her to lose her life for that dream. The nurse arrives and asks Karthik to come, saying Jyoti is calling his name. Karthik leaves with the nurse.
Karthik goes to Jyoti. Jyoti asks him not to leave her and says that the demon (Bhanu) might come again. She asks him to promise that he will not leave her. Deepa silently prays that Karthik does not make a promise he cannot keep. Deepa places her hand in Jyoti’s hand. Karthik promises Jyoti that he will not leave her and places her hand over Deepa’s, making it seem as if fate is hinting that Karthik may leave both Deepa and Jyoti.
Kanika returns home and tells the Kothari family that Deepa and Jyoti are fine. She announces that her engagement will not take place today but will be postponed. Kanika declares that the next time, her engagement will happen with Karthik, and she will make sure of it. She then leaves. Kailashnath tells Mahindra that they should go to the hospital to check on Jyoti.
Chitralekha tells Kailashnath that Kanika already informed them that Deepa and Jyoti are fine. She says that if they are worried, they can call Deepa.
Bhagyasree calls Deepa and asks about Jyoti. Deepa says Jyoti is fine and that the doctor has said she can be discharged tomorrow. Bhagyasree tells Deepa that she should have informed them if she was in trouble. Deepa thinks to herself that she did not even inform Karthik. Bhagyasree asks Deepa to tell Karthik to call Kanchan, as she is worried about him. Deepa agrees and ends the call.
Deepa tells Karthik to go to Kanika, saying Kanika needs him right now. She adds that she is indirectly responsible for his broken engagement and says she understands Kanika’s pain.
Kanika breaks a flower vase and recalls Deepa slapping her. She vows to take revenge on Deepa. Chitralekha asks Kanika to calm down and says it is time to focus on Karthik. She adds that if Kanika marries Karthik, Deepa will lose. Chitralekha advises Kanika to pressure Bhagyasree to arrange the engagement as soon as possible. Kanika agrees.
Bhagyasree comes to Kanika and asks her to eat. Kanika refuses, saying she is not hungry. She declares that she will not eat until the engagement date is fixed.
Episode ends.
Precap: Deepa discharges Jyoti from the hospital without Karthik’s knowledge and rents a new house. Later, Karthik learns at the hospital that Deepa has taken Jyoti after discharging her.
Jyoti looks at the new home and asks Deepa if they will stay there and whether she has informed Karthik. Deepa remains silent.

Karthik finds himself trapped between emotional pressure and his true responsibilities, making his next decision extremely important. Deepa’s silent sacrifice and sudden departure are likely to deepen misunderstandings between them. Meanwhile, Kanika’s growing obsession and desire for revenge signal even more intense drama in the coming episodes.
