Kanika asks Karthik and Deepa if she is disturbing them. Deepa questions Kanika about her tone. Kanika says she thought they were discussing something personal. Karthik clarifies that it’s nothing like that. Kanika asks Karthik why he didn’t attend her calls. He replies that he was driving. Jyoti supports him, saying her teacher told her never to attend calls while driving. Jyoti then questions Karthik about why he always answers Kanika’s calls immediately. Karthik signals Jyoti to keep quiet. Kanika sends Deepa and Jyoti away with an excuse and tells Karthik that she has a surprise for him.
Deepa talks to Bhagyasree about finding a lawyer and says she is meeting her the next day. Bhagyasree says she is happy to see Deepa happy.

Deepa asks Bhagyasree to take care of Jyoti for a day, saying she will go to the village and return as early as possible. Jyoti asks to go along, but Deepa assures her she will come back soon and asks her not to worry.
