The episode starts with the police inspector asking the Kothari family to call Deepa, saying that they have brought a suspect in Bhagyasree’s case. Kanika goes to call Deepa.
Kanika comes to the outhouse and sees that Deepa is not there, nor are her clothes. Kanika notices a gold chain in front of God’s photo. She returns to the family and informs them that Deepa is not in the outhouse. Kanika says she found a gold chain there. Kailashnath looks at the gold chain and tells the family that he had gifted it to Jyoti. He adds that if Deepa has left the gold chain behind, it means she will never return. The police inspector asks the Kothari family where Deepa is, and they reply that they do not know.
The police inspector accuses the Kothari family of sending the witness Deepa away since she testified against Kanika. He asks the family to show proof if he is wrong. The inspector also comments on Bhagyasree, saying that she took responsibility for Deepa, but now Deepa is nowhere to be found. Karthik arrives and defends the Kothari family. He tells the inspector that he will bring Deepa back and leaves.
Deepa and Jyoti are about to get into an auto when Karthik stops them. He tells Deepa that she must come with him to the Kothari house immediately, as the police have arrived and are suspecting the family. Karthik sends the auto driver away, gets Deepa and Jyoti into his car, and leaves.
On the way, Jyoti notices Vijayanti on the road and informs Deepa. Karthik stops the car. Deepa calls out to Vijayanti and asks why she has come to Hyderabad. Vijayanti asks for some water first. Karthik says there is water in the car and adds that they need to leave, as Mahindra is calling him.
Inside the car, Vijayanti asks Deepa if she has met Bhanu. Deepa says they will talk after reaching home. Jyoti asks Vijayanti about her bicycle, and Vijayanti says she sold it. Hearing this, Jyoti becomes emotional and argues with her. Deepa stops Jyoti and assures her that she will buy her another cycle.
Karthik brings Deepa to the Kothari house. Bhagyasree reprimands Deepa for leaving the mansion without informing anyone.
The police inspector asks Deepa whether she left the house on her own or was forced to leave. Kailashnath and Mahindra question the inspector’s tone. Deepa clarifies that she left on her own. The inspector shows her the suspect, and Deepa says it was not that person who attacked Bhagyasree.
Karthik comments that there has been no progress in the investigation. The police inspector tells him that they are doing their job and asks him not to question them. Karthik remarks that if the family makes a mistake, they are accused of hiding the witness, but if the police make a mistake, no one is allowed to question them. The inspector gets offended and tells Karthik that he will bring the real culprit within a week. Until then, the Kothari family will be responsible for Deepa.
