The episode starts with Kamini telling everyone happily that Suhani will get married soon and the groom’s family liked her a lot. Suhani stands silently. Dadi tells Suhani to freshen up. Suhani goes upstairs. Sudha asks Rakesh they should think about Suhani’s alliance twice as they are doing everything in hurry. Suhani should fulfil her dream first. Rakesh says after marriage Suhani can pursue her dreams and her husband will support her as his family is modern. Rakesh adds Suhani’s marriage is a big burden on him and he is not sure how long he will live as his health is not good so he wants Suhani to settle down. He wants to feel free from all the worries. Sudha looks upset.
Suhani cries and tells Sudha what is this happening, why Rakesh wants her to get married and Sudha didn’t tell him anything against that. Sudha says she is a mother and a wife too. She supported her daughter when it was needed and now Rakesh needs his wife so she has no choice. Sudha says Rakesh is really worried about his health and the stress is weakening him day by day. So he took the decision for Suhani. Sudha adds Suhani will get support from her in laws and her husband will be very supportive as well. Rakesh is not wrong in his place. Suhani says whatever it is but she is not happy with all these. She cries resting her head on Sudha’s lap.
Ranveer helps in making preparations for Suhani’s felicitation. Dean tells him that he was absent in his own felicitation but now he is making arrangements for Suhani. How strange is that. Someone should learn from Ranveer how to fulfil responsibilities. Suhani sees that and asks Ranveer what he is doing. Ranveer goes to her and says he just helped in making the arrangements and she deserves all this as she topped the first semester exam. She even broke his record of 98%. Ranveer says he is happy that Suhani broke his record. He takes Suhani on stage and says all the seniors and her parents will come here to see her achievement. She should feel the love and respect while standing here and receiving the trophy.
Ranveer then tells her to imagine that she is becoming a surgeon although for him she is already a famous surgeon. Suhani gets delighted hearing all of that. She receives the trophy and Riya Ansh get annoyed seeing her. Suhani then sees Sudha and hugs her. Sudha congratulates her and thanks Ranveer for helping Suhani in her journey. Suhani gives credits to Ranveer for guiding her properly. She says he made her college life much better and easier. Sudha says Ranveer invited her in this ceremony. Ranveer says he knows about her contribution so he had to invite her. Kamini arrives and tells Sudha to not waste time here as they have to go for shopping. Sudha takes Suhani from there and Suhani turns back to see Ranveer. Ranveer feels strange.
Roshni brings necklace for Riya and Mamta says this is meaningless as Ranveer doesn’t love Riya. Roshni says they have to unite Riya and Ranveer as Suhani will destroy their family. Mamta says she wants Riya as their daughter in law but what to do if Ranveer loves someone else. Roshni says they have to find a solution. Suhani enters home and sees jewels, dupatta, lehenga etc. Kamini makes her wear all the dupattas to choose one. Suhani asks her why they are buying all these. Kamini says tomorrow is Suhani’s engagement so they are selecting clothes. Suhani gets shocked hearing that.
