The episode starts with Suman complaining to Lord Ganesh, stating that a new bride receives blessings from her elders, but what she received was a curse from them.
Kritika runs down the road while Teerth and Devika chase after her. Kritika goes and stands on the stone railing of the bridge, asking Teerth and Devika to stay back. Devika and Teerth plead with Kritika to get down from the railing. Kritika responds, saying she doesn’t have any other option besides committing suicide since Teerth has married Suman instead of her. Devika urges Kritika to get down, promising to sort everything out. Kritika retorts, and as she slips, she falls off the railing. Teerth, seeing this, steps forward to save her.
Boomi approaches Rishi and tries to tell him about the liquid can but stops when she sees Hema and Malini coming into the room.
Hema and Malini talk to Rishi. Rishi asks them how things are going with Suman at Teerth’s house. Hema and Malini question Rishi about his concern. Rishi mentions that he recalled everyone in Teerth’s house hates Suman. Hema reassures him not to worry. Rishi asks Hema to call Suman, and she agrees.
Teerth catches Kritika’s hand and asks her to hold onto him, pulling her to safety. Kritika is shown to be unconscious.
Suman answers a call from Hema, who asks her why she called them. Rishi talks to Suman over the phone, asking what she is doing there. Suman replies that she is resting in her room. Hema and Malini inquire if Suman received her elders’ blessings. Suman recalls the curses from Teerth’s parents and says she received Teerth’s parents’ blessings. Rishi asks where Teerth is, and Suman says he is somewhere else, making up a reason for it. Rishi asks Suman to attend a video call, wanting to see her. Suman agrees and joins the call. Rishi questions why she is outside. Suman explains there was no network in Teerth’s room, which is why she came outside. Rishi asks Suman to let him talk to someone in the house. She agrees and puts the call on hold. Suman sees Akhil approaching her and pleads with him to talk to Rishi over the video call, convincing him that everything is fine. Akhil pretends to agree but then drops the phone, disconnecting the video call. Rishi, seeing this, thinks he might have made a mistake by allowing Suman to marry Teerth.
Suman begs Akhil to talk to Rishi. Akhil agrees but only if she fulfills his conditions. He asks Suman to hold her ears and do sit-ups. Later, Akhil requests Suman to rub her nose at his feet, but she refuses.
Teerth notices that Kritika is unconscious. He tells Devika that they need to take Kritika home right away, and she agrees.
Akhil comments on Suman, saying that for her, her arrogance is more important than her brother’s life. Suman responds that she will not touch his feet because he is younger than her, and doing so might shorten his life. Akhil, hearing this, agrees to talk to Rishi.
Suman video calls Hema. Rishi tells Akhil that he is entrusting Suman to their care and asks him to look after her as a sister. Akhil agrees but then says his mom is calling him and leaves. Later, Suman tells Rishi that everything is fine and urges him not to worry. Rishi agrees and ends the call.
Suman and Devika bring Kritika, who is unconscious, back home. The doctor arrives to check on Kritika. Devika reveals to her family that Kritika attempted suicide. Teerth asks Suman why she is still standing at the doorstep. Devika tells Teerth to take Kritika to the guest room. He agrees and carries Kritika to the guest room.
Devika later confronts Suman, stating that she will destroy her for Kritika’s happiness.
