The episode starts with Suman who proceeds to break the Mangal Sutra recalling the words of her husband. Being betrayed by her husband, she proceeds to break her nuptial chain. Suddenly the last words of her deceased brother remind her that she shouldn’t break the promise of her brother. She also decides she won’t force her husband to fulfill their relationship.
Hema decides to cancel the plan of attending the karwa chauth programme of her daughter. Malini encourages her to get ready otherwise their daughter will feel very bad for them.
Though Suman accepted Teerth as her husband, it is impossible to pretend for her as his wife. He is the ultimate truth of her life. She hides the vermilion and mangalsutra of her throat. She will always be his wife, whether he will accept it or not. She will always wear the sign of his name. She will fulfill the relationship but it is not a compulsion for him. She sets him free, the relationship will remain in her heart but she will never ask for her right.
Packing all the luggage, Suman decides to leave the house. As soon as she proceeds towards the main gate, she is asked by other family members why she is going. Suman says she is leaving the house forever. Her mother in law requests her to understand the value of the marriage. It’s not a toy game, it is fulfilled for eternity. Being rebuked by her mother in law, Suman becomes more puzzled but she explains this marriage has become a burden to everyone. She doesn’t want to be an obstacle in the life of Teerth. She is reminded by elders if she steps outside this house today, its doors will forever be closed for her.
Devika pretends to be sympathetic to Suman and tries to stop her. But Suman doesn’t want to listen to any requests. Her legs tremble to step out the door. Coming outside of the house, she takes an auto. At the same time, Teerth also was passing that road and notices him but he doesn’t think it was Suman.
When Suman returns to her mother’s house, Hema becomes totally surprised. Suman breaks down in tears and hugs her mother, she says the truth to her mom. Gulshan becomes excited to see Suman in her home, he decides to bring Suman in his life.
