The episode starts with Angad thinking about his lost son and talking to an empty photo frame and he feels as if he is talking to his son. Angad says to his son that he will open the gift for him today. Angad opens the gift and takes it out.
The gift is shown to be a rocket. Angad asks his son how is the gift. Angad recalls about Sahiba and leaves from there.
Sahiba helps Akir get ready to go to school. Dadi feeds Kheer to Akir. Twinkle says Akir is the only child that likes to go to school. Dadi comments and says everyone can’t be like her. Twinkle reminds even if she doesn’t go to school she always used to be topper of the class. Akir says just like him.
Sahiba gets a call from the principal. Sahiba and Daljeet go to the principal and asks the principal what happened.
The principal says Akir made all of them really proud as he got selected to district level science competition. The principal says the competition is taking place in Ludhiana GGT international school and says they should take Akir to Ludhiana. Daljeet agrees.
Simran invites Angad for her school quiz competition as chief guest. Angad agrees. Simran selects a dress for Angad and asks Angad to wear this dress. Angad agrees.
Sahiba prepares all the documents for Akir’s science competition but she notices that they also need Akir’s birth certificate.
Sahiba comes and says to Akir that he is not going to the science competition this year and she asks him to go next year. Akir says he wants to go this year and says to Sahiba how hard he worked to get this chance. Sahiba still refuses Akir. Daljeet asks Sahiba what is the problem.
Bani while playing accidentally goes into the baby’s room. Simran lashes out at Bani for going into the baby room as Angad strictly told everyone not to go into that room. Kirat asks Simran how could she scold Bani as Bani doesn’t know about it and she is just a kid. Angad comes and asks Kirat not to talk to Simran in that tone. Kirat says Simran is the one who scolded Bani. Angad doesn’t say anything to Simran and Simran leaves from there.
Kirat complaints to Garry that Angad and others are scolding her for something she hasn’t done and says she thinks everyone is punishing her for being Sahiba’s sister. Kirat says she will handle it but if anyone msitreats Bani she will not stay calm.
Sahiba sees Akir’s birth certificate and sees the blank near the father’s name on the birth certificate and thinks this is not the right time.
Sahiba recalls when Akir was born and she was asked to fill up the name of the father. Daljeet asks Sahiba to write the name of the father if he is good enough to take up the responsibility of the father. Sahiba leaves the father’s name blank.
Daljeet comes and comforts Sahiba saying Akir needs to learn how to face rejection. Sahiba says she doesn’t know if she is doing right or wrong by hiding the truth his family. Daljeet reminds Sahiba how happy Bihi and Twinkle were when he brought her here as his wife.
