The episode starts with Anurag telling Kajol he chooses her and he wishes to marry her. Kajol says today by proposing her in front of eve Anurag turned everyone’s doubt into confirmation. Kajol tells she wants to be someone’s choice not a last option. Anurag tells Kajol that is why he is telling her he chooses her. Anurag tells Kajol is such a simple person with a very pure heart so he wants to marry her. Kajol tells Anurag she is not so helpless that Anurag will have pity on her. Anurag tells how can she think that he will pity on her,he wants to marry her. Anurag tells Kajol she has a very good heart and he can clearly see no one will respect her here so he wants Kajol to come with her. Kajol tells her answer is no.
Tear drops down Anurag’s eye and he tells Kajol that maybe his words cannot express his emotions well but he is not asking Kajol out of pity. Kajol breaks down crying and Anurag watches her. Arjun smiles and signals Anurag to leave. Anurag leaves from there. Sharmila tells Anurag’s father now we should formally ask for Kajol’s hand. Anurag’s father tells we should atleast Anurag’s answer first. Sharmila tells she has seen the answer in Anurag’s eyes. Sharmila brings Anjali’s saree and tells she will give it to Kajol when they go to her house.
Kajol sits down crying and recalls her moments with Anurag and he proposing her for marriage. Thakur Maa apologizes to Kajol for lying to her and ruining everything for her. Kajol tells even thieves are given a chance to clarify themselves but not she. Thakur Maa ask Kajol why did she reject Anurag and praises him. Thakur Maa told he stood with you during your hard time and no one does that. Kajol tells Anurag is a very good guy but there is someone else in his life and he wants to marry Kajol for her self-respect not love. Thakur Maa tells Kajol to take some time and think because she can see love for Kajol in Anurag’s eyes.
Anurag returns home and Sharmila asks him about Kajol. Anurag hides his tears and tells she fell from the cliff trying to save a child but now both of them are okay. Sharmila tells Anurag she wants to talk to him about Kajol. Sharmila tells she and his father wants to see Kajol as the daughter-in-law of their house. Anurag tells Sharmila not to talk about this as it is not going to happen. Sharmila asks Anurag but doesn’t he? Anurag interrupts her and tells yes he loves Kajol,he loves her a lot but Kajol doesn’t feel the same way,Kajol thinks that Anurag wants to marry her out of pity. Sharmila asks how does he know this and when did all this happen? Anurag told today he proposed Kajol for marriage in front of everyone and he became a fool in front of everyone.The episode ends with Priyanka thinking it is good that Kajol said no because she would have never let Kajol and Anurag be one.
