The episode starts with Anurag’s colleague telling him they would have lost the patient if Anurag didn’t come on time. Another doctor says we should thank the person who convinced Anurag not to leave for US or we would have lost a gem. Anurag hopes Priyanka’s plan works and Kajol realizes that the bond she shares with Anurag is special. Kajol recalls watching Anurag with Priyanka and gets sad,she remembers her dance with Anurag and opens the return gift Priyanka made Anurag give her. Kajol breaks down in tears to find engagement card of Anurag and Priyanka.
Anurag comes out of the operation theatre and his juniors congratulates him. Anurag thinks it is good that the juniors are realizing the precision required in surgery. Anurag’s colleague comes to his office and congratulates him and told him that Priyanka is a nice choice. Anurag tries to clarify to him that Priyanka is just a good friend of his. Anurag’s colleague tells him to turn on the local news. Anurag turns on the TV and watches news of him announcing his marriage with Priyanka. Anurag gets furious and shouts telling everyone that all this is just a rumour.
Kajol comes home and thinks whatever Priyanka told her was the truth. Thakur Maa finds Kajol crying in her room. Kajol shows her the engagement card of Anurag and Priyanka. Thakur Maa tries to calm Kajol but Kajol tells she was a fool to believe in a relationship that never existed. Priyanka comes to Anurag’s office and stops him from calling Kajol. Anurag asks her if neither of them told anything to media how could this news leak and how will he make Kajol believe that all this is a lie. Dida Maa and Priyanka’s mother come there and ask Anurag about the news.
Dida Maa shows Anurag the engagement card and tells all this is Kajol’s doing. Anurag tells her not to accuse Kajol. Dida Maa shows him that the card was printed in Kajol’s press. Anurag tells he loves Kajol and he knows her very well that she would never play with anyone’s prestige. Priyanka’s mother tells that now her name has been attached with Anurag. Dida Maa tells Anurag to marry Priyanka. Anurag tells it would be stupidity to marry because of a rumor as he has no feelings for Priyanka. Anurag calls Kajol to clarify things but Kajol tells him she doesn’t want to keep any relationship with him and tells Anurag never to call her again.
Anurag leaves the hospital saying he needs some time alone. Kajol’s mother apologizes to Kajol and tries to console her. Kajol gets a call from Anurag and she tells him that she doesn’t want to talk with him. The guy on call says their was a cylinder blast and he found this phone lying here and the last dialled number was of Kajol so he called her. Kajol turns around and the diya extinguishes. The episode ends with Kajol running to find out about Anurag.
