The episode starts with Lata and Dil sitting in a Mumbai-bound bus. Lata asks the conductor when the bus will leave. The conductor replies that five more passengers need to board. Lata tells Dil that even if she has to travel to Mumbai alone, she must never reveal her identity to anyone for her own safety. Lata warns her never to return to Raunakpur, as her uncle is dangerous. Dil asks how she can go alone. Lata asks her to be brave and makes her promise never to reveal her identity. Lata then sits away from Dil.
Meanwhile, Maama hears a cat’s meow and boards the Mumbai bus searching for Dil. Just then, the cat escapes from the bus, and Dil follows it.
At Raghav’s house, Raghav’s sister arrives and tells her mother about Raghav’s rash driving. Her sister-in-law (Bhabhi) adds that Natasha instigated Shanaya against Raghav. They all worry about him.
Back at the bus, Maama catches Lata and questions her about Dil. The other passengers ask Maama to stop misbehaving with a lady. Maama says he’s looking for his niece. One passenger says they saw a girl get off the bus with a cat. The passengers ask Maama to step down and resolve his issues outside. Maama asks Lata to tell him about Dil.
Dil, meanwhile, finds her cat and boards another bus. Lata sees Dil in that bus and silently prays for her safety. Maama spots Dil and recognises her by Nandini’s dupatta. He runs after the bus but fails to catch it. Dil tells the conductor that her aunt isn’t on the bus. The conductor says the bus can’t be stopped and assures her that her aunt will come on the next bus, so she shouldn’t worry.
Raghav’s mother advises him to drive slowly. Raghav says Shanaya’s tears scare him more than any accident. His mother tells him to make his daughter feel assured that he’ll set everything right, so she feels happy.
Dil thinks to herself how her mother used to scold her whenever she sang. She starts singing sadly. Raghav, meanwhile, thinks that Nandini isn’t his, and only her dedicated book remains with him.
Bindu comes to Raghav and imitates Padmini in a funny way. Raghav says she’s happy because she has never loved anyone. Natasha, meanwhile, remembers Minni’s words and mutters, “I hate you, Raghav.” The police stop Natasha’s car, making her nervous as she worries that someone might have seen her on the day of the accident.
Dil imagines Nandini appearing before her. Dil tells her, “I thought you wouldn’t recognise me as I’ve become a boy now.” Nandini replies, “A mother can always sense her child’s presence.” She asks Dil not to be scared of going to Mumbai alone and says, “Whenever you feel afraid, look at the stars and find your daughter.” Dil agrees. Nandini disappears.
Later, as the conductor checks tickets, Dil realises she doesn’t have one. She hides inside a bag with her cat. The conductor asks whose bag it is. Dil feels scared from inside.
