he episode begins with Babara and Matches tricking Dil and stealing her mother’s belongings. Dil sees them running away and pleads with them to stop, saying her mother’s things are important to her, but they don’t listen. Heartbroken, Dil prays in Film City, wishing to meet her father.
Meanwhile, Shanaya tells Raghav that she wants to become a rockstar and shoot her song there like him. Raghav replies that it’s tiring and suggests they go home. Shanaya calls him boring and wanders off on her own, asking Raghav to wait. As Raghav sits in one place, his hand accidentally touches Dil’s hand. He feels a strange connection, thinking he may have found his daughter, and is about to see her face when Shanaya arrives, calling him “Dadu.” Raghav happily picks her up as she thanks him for bringing her there. They leave together. A guard asks Dil to leave the set as shooting is about to begin, so she quietly walks away.
Later, Dil feels hungry and tells Billi she knows they’re both hungry but doesn’t know what to do. She asks a shopkeeper for some milk, but he refuses. She then notices a man painted in gold earning money as a living statue. Inspired, she seeks his help and joins as a golden statue to earn some money.
At home, Padmini tries to stop Natasha from leaving and asks where she’s going. Natasha angrily asks where Shanaya is. Just then, Shanaya arrives with Raghav and hugs Natasha, asking if they’re going on another trip without her. Natasha says they’re moving into a hotel suite. As they sit in the car, Raghav stops the vehicle forcefully. Natasha gets out and accuses Raghav of being characterless and having a mistress, Nandini. Raghav warns her to speak about Nandini with respect or face his wrath. Natasha slaps him. Enraged, Raghav throws her belongings out and breaks things, asking her to leave if she wants. His mother tries to calm him, reminding him that he has a daughter and must not instill fear in Shanaya’s heart. Raghav breaks down, saying Shanaya is his daughter, and he cannot live without her. Remembering Shanaya’s words, he resolves to do anything for his daughter.
Meanwhile, Dil manages to earn some money. She thanks the golden statue man for his help, buys milk for Billi, and feeds it. The shop owner, touched by her kindness, gives her a bun and asks why she came to Mumbai. Dil says she’s searching for her mother, father, maami, and now Babara and Matches, as they stole her mother’s things. The shopkeeper tells her they stay in Radha Colony. Dil thanks him.
Raghav meets Natasha and apologizes. Natasha refuses to forgive him, calling him the worst person and saying she can’t live with him anymore. His family tries to stop her, but she doesn’t listen. Padmini asks Natasha to leave. While leaving, Natasha bitterly says she doesn’t understand why Raghav left her for someone like Nandini. Pushed to his breaking point, Raghav smashes a cup and declares that Nandini is a thousand times better.
At the same time, Dil calls Maami’s phone number, and Maama answers.
