The episode starts with Dil noticing Padmini struggling to get an injection. Dil helps her by administering it. The family members arrive at the scene. Shanaya decides to frame Dil for breaking Raghav’s favorite musical instrument.
They see Padmini struggling after the injection and ask what Dil gave her. Raghav enters and asks what’s going on. Dil sees him and thinks of him as Rakshas Kumar, so she hides. Raghav asks who she is. Mannu says, “She’s my relative—she entered by mistake.” Shanaya says, “I know who she is. She’s the one who broke your Ragini instrument.” Dil denies it. A scuffle breaks out, and Dil ends up pushing Shanaya.
Raghav gets angry. Shanaya demands that Raghav throw Dil out of the house for pushing her. Raghav orders Dil to leave. Dil, in tears, wonders how she will now find her father. Raghav shuts the door in her face. Moments later, he thinks, Why am I feeling so strange? He opens the door and sees that Dil is gone. She is actually standing near a tree, watching him tearfully. He goes back inside. Dil wipes her tears.
Later, Dil sits in the garden as heavy rain pours down. She says, “Mom, I’m scared. I’ll stay here until Raghav calms down. Then I’ll ask him about my father. Until then, we have to stay hidden.”
Inside, Natasha enters Raghav’s room and insists on sleeping on the right side. She also doesn’t let him drink water from her bottle. Raghav looks out the window at the rain. Natasha urges him to enjoy it. Raghav agrees and steps outside.
He finds Dil sitting in the rain, shivering. As he approaches, he sees a resemblance to Nandini in her. He notices the dupatta and is momentarily startled by the similarity. He brushes off the thought and wonders who she really is. He calls Mannu and asks her to bring Dil inside.
Dil wakes up in Raghav’s room and looks around for her cat, but can’t find it. She goes out in search of it.
Meanwhile, Natasha tells her PR team that she wants to make her daughter the next rock star. One team member suggests using Raghav’s image to promote Shanaya. Loni Bhattiwala advises they focus on something other than singing, since everyone knows Shanaya can’t sing. Natasha gets furious and throws him out. Raghav intervenes and tells the team to leave. He tells Natasha that if Shanaya wants to be a rock star, she should practice singing instead of relying on PR. He adds, “There are many singers, but only one becomes a rock star—because their voice touches the heart. Shanaya still has a long way to go.” He leaves.
Dil sings a song. Raghav hears her voice and is drawn to it.

Precap: Dil is locked in a dark room. She feels hungry and thinks about her mother. Someone throws a chapati in front of her. Dil tells Natasha she wants her mother. Natasha offers her a deal—she wants Dil’s voice. Dil agrees, saying she just wants her mother.
