The episode begins with Dil happily opening a box and finding a frock inside. She wonders if anyone has discovered her true identity as a girl. Excited, she wears the frock, dances joyfully, and sings while thinking of her mother. Just then, Raghav sees her from the window and is shocked. Dil also notices him.
Raghav confronts Dil by banging on the door. When she opens it, he asks if she is really a girl. Dil admits the truth and removes her cap. She explains that her Maami, Lata, disguised her as a boy to protect her from her Maama and sent her to Mumbai, asking her not to reveal the truth to anyone. Raghav understands and assures her that her Maami did it for her safety. He promises to find her father and hugs her. Meanwhile, Raghav’s mother witnesses this and thinks, You will have to search for the truth yourself, Raghav.
Later, Raghav’s father gathers the family and introduces them to a beautiful girl—Diljeet in her real identity. Everyone smiles at her transformation. Shanaya questions why Diljeet is dressed as a girl, but Raghav reveals that her real name is Dil and she is indeed a girl. Madhu hugs her and asks Dil to become her and Chandan’s daughter. Dil replies that while they are good, her own mother is the best and she wants her real parents. Natasha, feeling threatened for Shanaya’s place, secretly vows to show her evil side.
Raghav suggests that Dil should stay as Madhu and Chandan’s daughter until they find her parents. He reminds her that even Krishna had two mothers. Dil agrees but asks Raghav to promise that he will unite her with her parents. Raghav promises and asks about their names. Dil says she doesn’t know about her father but her mother’s name is Nandini. Raghav is stunned as he recalls his memories with Nandini. When Dil shows him a torn photograph of her mother, Raghav is shocked to see it is indeed his Nandini. Emotional, he realizes Dil is his daughter. Overcome with joy, he hugs her while recalling their past moments. Natasha sees them and is shaken.
Raghav then asks Dil about her father. Dil explains that her mother once said he was an astronaut, but her Maami told her he was a singer in Mumbai. Raghav realizes Chandan lied to him about Nandini’s marriage. Overwhelmed, he hugs his daughter tightly.

Precap: Natasha tries to kidnap Dil from the house. Nandini arrives in time, slaps Natasha, and Raghav is stunned to see Nandini before him.
