The episode starts with Dil telling Nandini, “I’m your Dil, and you’re my Dhadkan.” Nandini smiles and says she has grown up. Dil replies that she has become budhi (old) because she hasn’t been going to school. Nandini assures her that once they leave for Raunakpur, she can rejoin school. Dil says she is scared of Maama. Nandini tells her not to worry. Dil then asks how she disappeared all these days. Nandini explains about her accident and how she was in a coma. She adds, “The moment I opened my eyes, I started searching for you.”
Dil asks Nandini to sing a song for her. Nandini sings, and Raghav recalls Nandini’s words. He thinks, “Please forgive me, Nandini. I truly deserve the punishment.” Raghav goes to Dil’s room and sees Nandini putting her to sleep with the song. After Dil falls asleep, Nandini turns to switch off the light and notices Raghav at the doorway. She walks to him, and they recall their past moments together. Nandini is reminded of how Raghav broke his promise by not returning to Raunakpur for her. Hurt, she shuts the door on his face. Raghav’s mother witnesses his vulnerable state.
Meanwhile, Natasha meets Maama in jail. She hands him a blank cheque and asks him to remove Nandini and Dil from her house. Maama smirks and says, “Deal done.”
The next morning, Nandini wakes up Dil. Dil excitedly says, “Today I’m going to spend a day with Dad, and I’m so happy!” She tells Nandini not to feel bad, assuring her that they can leave for Raunakpur after this day. Raghav’s mother gives him black coffee. Raghav says he is thrilled to spend time with his daughter. She admits, “I made mistakes with you and Nandini, and now you’re paying the price.” Raghav consoles her.
Later, Raghav surprises Shanaya and Dil with balloons, declaring that they are his friends. Shanaya says, “Dil is your daughter, not me.” But Raghav lovingly says, “You’re both my daughters, and I love you equally.” He goes to arrange a vehicle for a picnic.
At that moment, Maama arrives and kidnaps both Shanaya and Dil. Natasha pleads with him to leave the children, but he rebukes her and holds them at knifepoint. Raghav and the family rush there, begging him to release the kids, but Maama drags them into a room and locks the door. Dil consoles Shanaya not to be scared, and they hug each other tightly. Raghav bangs on the door, assuring the kids to stay strong. He demands to know what Maama wants. Maama demands 2 crores in cash. Nandini pleads with him to leave the children, but he cruelly says he will release Dil while keeping Shanaya for more money. Dil shouts, “She is my sister!”
Raghav agrees to arrange the ransom. Nandini reveals that Maama is her brother, Gautham, and warns Raghav not to trust him. Furious, Raghav warns Gautham, “If you harm my children, you will be finished.” Meanwhile, Shanaya tries to unlock the door, but Maama angrily throws a knife at her.
