The episode starts with Natasha telling Dil, “You have to admit that your voice is Shanaya’s. Until then, you’ll remain locked in this dark room.” Natasha then locks the door and leaves. Dil, frightened, accidentally steps on a toy snake, gets scared for a moment, then realizes it’s just a toy and smiles. Still anxious, she cries out for her mother to come soon. To distract herself, she sings “Saath Samundar Paar” and says she believes her father will come and reunite her with her mother, just as Baba predicted.
Meanwhile, Chandan and his wife try to speak with Raghav, but he says, “Later,” and takes Shanaya to his room. He notices the room is still wrecked from the previous night’s outburst. Raghav says, “I broke this room, but now, with Saraswati Maa’s blessings and my daughter by my side, this room will become a temple again. We will clean and practice singing here.”
Natasha arrives and, thinking her plan might be exposed if Dil sings, quickly intervenes. She suggests that Raghav and Shanaya begin their practice after cleaning the room, since he considers it sacred. Raghav agrees.
Elsewhere, Dil worries that her cat, Mau Billi, might be hungry. She bangs on the door, pleading for Natasha to open it, saying, “My cat must be waiting for me!” Natasha and Shanaya overhear her cries. Shanaya asks, “Did Dad punish Dil?” Natasha replies, “No, I did. I asked her for something—for you—but she refused.” Shanaya says, “Dil has nothing to give.” Natasha answers, “She has a golden voice. If she sings, the world will think it’s you. You’ll become a rockstar.” But Shanaya refuses, saying, “Dad loves my voice. I’m not part of your plan,” and walks away.
Shanaya then spots Billi and gets an idea to use her in teaching Dil a lesson. Meanwhile, Padmini instructs Chandan and Bindu to plaster Raghav and Shanaya’s posters all over the city, so people will eagerly await the concert.
Shanaya later approaches Dil, notices her injured hand, and ties a cloth around it. She offers food and tells her to come along. Dil asks, “Where is Yammy/Natasha Aunty? She punished me.” Shanaya replies, “I know about your cat. Come with me, or Billi will run away.” Despite her injured foot (from a previous punishment by Raghav), Dil follows her. Along the way, Dil sees Raghav and wants to talk to him about her father, but Shanaya pulls her away.
Shanaya secretly takes Dil near the freezer. Natasha, while leaving, hears the sound of Dil’s dress tearing and goes to check, but finds no one.
Shanaya tricks Dil by saying her cat is inside the freezer. Dil refuses to believe her, but Shanaya plays a meowing sound from her digital watch. Dil, convinced, enters the freezer. Shanaya then locks her inside, mocking her. Dil panics and begs Shanaya to open the door. Shanaya says it’s just a prank and tries to unlock the door but fails. Hearing footsteps approaching, Shanaya panics and runs to her room.
Episode ends.
Precap: Dil is still locked in a dark room, hungry and scared. She thinks about her mother. Suddenly, a chapati is thrown in front of her. Dil tells Natasha that she wants her mother. Natasha makes a deal: she wants Dil’s voice in exchange. Dil agrees, saying she just wants her mother back.
