The episode begins with Natasha asking Mannu about Dil. Mannu replies, “I don’t know. I’ll check in her room.” Natasha asks her to look for Dil and thinks to herself, “I locked Diljeet in this room then who unlocked it?”
Meanwhile, Dil, trapped inside the freezer, wonders how she can find her mother now. Shanaya pretends to be listening to music when Natasha comes to ask her about Dil. Natasha then informs the family that Dil is missing.
Raghav is about to ask what’s going on, but Shanaya distracts him by asking when they can start practicing for their concert. Raghav smiles and says, “Soon.”
The family tells Natasha that Dil is nowhere to be found. Padmini suggests that maybe the child went back to wherever she came from and tells Natasha to stop searching and focus on the concert. Everyone leaves. Natasha drives away in her car.
Raghav then opens the freezer and is shocked to find Dil inside—unconscious and freezing. He quickly covers her with his coat, brings her to the hall, and urges someone to call a doctor and bring hot water. Chandan calls Dr. Sanjeev. Chandan’s wife asks where he found her, and Raghav says she was locked inside the freezer. Shanaya quickly adds that Dil might have gotten stuck inside while looking for her cat. Sia calls Natasha and informs her that Dil has been found.
Raghav’s mother asks how he found her. Raghav says the cat led him to her. She feels it’s a sign from God that this child is meant to stay with them. The doctor arrives and checks Dil. Dr. Sanjeev says, “Keep her warm. She’s lucky you found her in time.” Raghav asks if she will be fine, and the doctor assures him she’ll recover soon.
Natasha wonders how Dil ended up locked in the freezer and thinks to herself that she must protect her. Raghav notices burn marks on Dil’s feet from the punishment he gave her earlier. As he turns to leave, Dil unconsciously holds his hand. He stays beside her. When she opens her eyes, he feels relieved and gently applies ointment to her burns. Dil falls asleep again.
Later, Mannu tells Dil, “It’s good Raghav sir found you, or else what would’ve happened?” Dil says, “He’s not bad. He saved me. Maybe he can help me find my parents.” Mannu tells her to rest, gives her medicine, and leaves.
Meanwhile, Shanaya, disappointed her plan to eliminate Dil failed, starts drawing her frustration. Hearing footsteps, she quickly hides the drawing and pretends to enjoy music. Natasha finds the drawing and confronts Shanaya, asking if she locked Dil in the freezer. Shanaya admits it and says, “You think her voice is better. No one cares about me, so I tried to kill her.” Natasha scolds her, saying, “You’re wrong. We need her voice for now so you can become a rockstar. Don’t even think of hurting her again.” Shanaya tells her to leave her alone. Natasha thinks she knows how to handle her.
The next morning, both Raghav and Dil are shown waking up at the same time. They smile as they realize it’s July 25—Nandini’s birthday. Dil looks at her mother’s photo and wishes her a happy birthday. Raghav also remembers Nandini’s likes and becomes emotional.
Dil tells her mother’s photo, “Raghav isn’t bad. I’ll talk to him. He’ll help me find my father.” Raghav reads a book gifted to him by Nandini. Dil walks into his room with Lilly. Raghav approaches her. Natasha sees them together and fears that Dil might reveal the truth about their plan to use her voice for Shanaya’s lip-syncing. She panics, thinking, “If Raghav finds out, he’ll kill me.”
