The episode starts with Kapoors having breakfast. Shamsher tells the family about the Lohri celebration which is going to take place in two days. He says that they will celebrate Lohri grantly as it’s Advait-Nehmat and Nikhil-Naaz’s first Lohri celebration. He wants his daughter-in-law to be decked up for the function and asks Advait and Nikhil to take their respective wives for shopping. He praises Nehmat’s cooking skills and leaves. Advait says that he doesn’t have time to take Nehmat shopping and asks Rama to do her shopping.
Ekam goes to meet Sadvik. Sadvik says that his aunt asked him to look after the kids, but he got some urgent work. He asks Ekam to take care of the children and leaves despite Ekam trying to explain that he can. On the other hand, Nehmat goes to Advait and says that Naaz and Nikhil planned to wear matching clothes for the Lohri celebration and asks if they can also do the same. Advait asks Nehmat not to expect anything from him. He leaves. Nehmat is determined to try to keep her relationship with Advait at any cost.
Ekam is having a hard time handling the children. The children cry since they are hungry. He gets samosa for them. But they refuse to have it as it contains mirchi. Harleen arrives there wearing a mask. She plays with the children and cheers them up. Ekam wonders who she is. Harleen removes the mask. Ekam is surprised to see Harleen. A boy delivers the pizzas ordered by Harleen. The latter gives them to the children and sends them inside the house. Ekam thanks Harleen for handling the children. Harleen boasts that she knows how to handle children. Ekam says that it’s obvious. Ekam requests Harleen to handle the children so that he can go to his work. Harleen agrees on the condition that Ekam shouldn’t shout at her and should talk to her nicely. Ekam agrees. But Ekam says that Harleen shouldn’t be after him and irritates him. Harleen agrees. Harleen suggests becoming friends. Ekam agrees and shakes hands with her. Ekam leaves. Harleen thinks that friendship is the first step to love and she is successful in the first step.
Advait is on call with his GF. He apologizes to her for spoiling her birthday the other day. He asks her to come to his home as no one is at home. Meanwhile, Ekam arrives at Kapoor’s house. The watchman tells Ekam that everyone in the house has gone shopping except Advait. Ekam receives Sadvik’s call. He asks if they can have dinner outside. Ekam refuses by giving the excuse of his work. Sadvik reminds Ekam that he promised to take him for dinner. He adds that he will stay there for only two days. Ekam agrees and asks him to find a good restaurant and send him the address. He will arrive. While Ekam is busy talking with Sadvik, Advait’s GF goes inside Kapoor’s house.
There, Sadvik and Harleen give a hifi that their plan worked. Harleen asks Sadvik to take Ekam to the restaurant. She will arrive later, so that it looks like a coincidence. Here, Advait’s GF meets Advait and they start to romance in Advait’s room. Ekam is sitting outside. Nehmat returns home as she forgot the shopping list at home. Ekam thinks of telling Nehmat about Advait’s truth. He tries to talk to Nehmat. But she scolds him and asks him to stay away from her. She turns around. She cries. She goes inside the house. Ekam is determined to tell Nehmat the truth.
Nehmat goes to Advait’s room. She’s shocked to find Advait and a girl lying on the bed with the girl on top of Advait. Advait and his GF get up on seeing Nehmat. Advait asks Nehmat why she didn’t go shopping with others. Nehmat says that she went, but it’s good that she came back home. Advait asks why. Nehmat says that he is romancing another in their bedroom and in their bed. She reminds him that he has a wife who also stays in the same room. She scolds him and asks if his cheap action won’t spoil his political career. Advait asks Nehmat not to over react. He wraps his hand around his GF’s waist and asks if she gets angry at seeing her. He asks if she expects him to be loyal to her. Nehmat says no and adds that she has already washed off the lipstick mark from his coat. She further says that she thought that he will stop his cheap activities for his political career’s sake. She says that she expected that he would do such a cheap act in their bedroom and refuses to accept it. Advait reminds Nehmat that they don’t have any husband and wife relationship. Nehmat says that there should be at least respect between them. Advait asks what about his respect. He says that Nehmat’s boyfriend, Ekam, is there all the time. Nehmat reminds Advait that he hired Ekam as his bodyguard and Ekam never came between their relationship and she never let him come between them. She says that Advait brought a girl between them and refuses to tolerate it. Advait says that she has to tolerate it like he is tolerating Ekam. He says to his GF that they will go to some hotel where no one will disturb them. Advait leaves, taking his GF along. Nehmat angrily closes her fist.
Ekam is shocked to see Advait coming outside the house with his GF. Advait thinks that Ekam informed Nehmat about them. Advait goes to Ekam and says to him not to think that Nehmat will get freedom from him as there’s no exit for the daughters-in-law of this house. He says that Ekam and Nehmat spoiled their mood. He leaves with his GF. Ekam worries about how Nehmat would feel after seeing Advait with his GF.
Nehmat recalls Rupy’s advice. A FB shows. Rupy says that the mutual respect is important in any relationship and encourages her not to fear to take any tough decision when the circumstances requires and promises Nehmat to always support her any decision. FB ends. Nehmat wipes her tears. Nehmat packs her suitcase. She recalls Advait’s words. She goes to the hall. She looks at Advait and her wedding photoframe. She recalls Rupy and Shamsher’s words. Naaz arrives there and sees this. She recalls Jasmine’s words and gets happy thinking that it’s her plan. The rest of the family arrives. Naaz and Shamsher ask Nehmat what happened. Just then, Ekam arrives there and says that he will tell.
