Udaariyaan 17th April 2023 Written Update: Naaz learns that Harleen can never become a mother

The episode starts with Nehmat searching for the shop where to buy the masala. She feels bad that Sartaj scolded Nimmo because of her. Ekam is also there in disguise to catch the drug smugglers. He communicates with his team through a Bluetooth call. Meanwhile, Sartaj goes to the police station. He shows Nehmat’s phone to his friend who is a police officer and asks him to enquire about her.

Sartaj laments about Nehmat’s actions. He doubts Nehmat’s intention and hopes that she doesn’t harm Nimmo. In Ekam’s house, Jasmine is happily dancing with Naaz and Cherry. Satti and the aunt are talking about Harleen and Ekam. Satti says that Harleen told her that Ekam would get a gift for her. The aunt says to Satti that Harleen and Ekam will grow closer if they become parents. Satti says that it’s too early to talk about the baby. Jasmine hears this and agrees with the aunt. Naaz hears this and thinks about how a baby can be born when they aren’t going to come closer.

Nimmo phones Nehmat and asks if she bought the masala. Nehmat says not yet. She asks how much masala she should buy. Nimmo says to Nehmat the shop owner knows about it and asks her to tell him his name. Sartaj hears this and says to Nimmo that he doesn’t trust Nehmat and worries about Nimmo’s safety. In the market, Ekam and Nehmat sense each other present.

Balveer says to Naaz that he got a diamond brooch as gift for Ekam. Naaz says to Balveer that he looks young despite his old age. She says that she doesn’t want to call him uncle, so she will call him using a nickname. Balveer is flattered and agrees. Naaz walks away. Cherry sees this and understands that Naaz is very cunning. Naaz goes to Harleen, who is sad. She acts as if she doesn’t know anything and asks what happened, why she’s sad. She adds that she came across Ekam downstairs and he was sad. Harleen says nothing. Naaz asks Harleen to get ready fast as everyone is waiting for her. She offers to select her clothes while Harleen can wash her face. Harleen agrees. She thanks Naaz and leaves.

Naaz is finding a dress for Harleen in the cupboard. She finds Harleen’s medical report in the cupboard. She reads it and discovers that Harleen is infertile. Naaz becomes happy, thinking that Renuka won’t accept Harleen if she learns this truth. She selects a dress for Harleen. She says to Harleen to come down after getting ready and leaves.

In the market, Nehmat is buying the masala in a shop. The owner turns out to be a drug smuggler who is in disguise too. His teammate phones him and informs him about the police team’s presence in the market in disguise. He looks around and sees Ekam. Nehmat sneezes. Ekam hears this. He says Nehmat. He recalls what happened in the house. He says to himself to stop thinking about Nehmat.

Harleen’s mooh dikai ceremony begins. Jasmine gifts a necklace set for Harleen. Naaz gets jealous to see this. She walks away. Balveer goes after her. Cherry stops Balveer and criticizes Naaz. She says that it seems Naaz isn’t as rich as Harleen is. Balveer says that he doesn’t think so. He leaves. Cherry sees Naaz messaging someone and wonders whom she is texting now. In the market, Ekam understands that the smugglers learned about their presence there and decides to attack them. He gives instructions to the subordinate officers for the same. The man hands a box to Nehmat. The latter says that the box is heavy and what’s inside. The man says that they gave her the wrong box. The box drops. Nehmat is shocked to see weapons and drugs.

The episode ends.

Precap: Ekam is fighting with the smugglers. A man throws vermilion into Ekam’s eyes. Nehmat sees Ekam struggling to see. Nehmat pours water over Ekam’s face. Ekam is shocked to see Nehmat.
